I didn't, someone in IRC figured that out. I just got a decent screenshot of the photo from the youtube video.

As far as I can tell from looking at the IRC log, they just latched on 1977 from the other video.

Yes. I believe the September date was from the IRC. I'm not sure who said it, as information was coming in fast, but I can remove it from the 2020k page if it's not accurate. Regardless, it was aired in 1977. I did add a note on the page that says a citation is needed for the original date of air. Someone also commented here with the same date.

I posted in response on the comments as well. I read back in the IRC logs and I can't find any clear explanation on how that episode was picked, except that it was in 1977. But that's just circular logic.

This could just be my tablet, but the website appears to have lost the last 2 buttons for news and discography - although they still work if you click in that area??

Has anyone tried cleaning the audio on csch video? There is some distinct talking in the backround that sounds like numbers to me.

maybe timing the space between the beeps, they seem to be irregular? It might lead to something.

at first i was leery about the whole thing however as more and more evidence starts to come out im really starting to believe we may have new boc soon

i love the whole ARG vibe that they're putting out on this. havent enjoyed watching an album release this much since the year zero game

Looks and works fine for me in Canada.

Both clues thus far have led into one another. The first clue was #4, which consisted of footage of some random fan(an amateur) recording what he found. AMATEUR FOOTAGE.

The second clue consisted of a distorted video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lub89YirmC4&hd=1 ) that had some (if you listen to the background closely) beeping and odd numbers. COMPUTING.

The little house on the prairie clue CAN NOT be overlooked, it is there for a reason, and could possibly lead to the first slot being filled. Look for more 1977 related things, people!

julie and candy video had GOT ONE FAT in it. [rearranged = FOOTAGE]
its a fan video...

got one fat + video = AMATEUR FOOTAGE

maybe there is something more in there? or it was simply the dashes clue

Tue Apr 23, 2013 7:36 am

The "Got One Fat" was just there for getting to the "Everything you do is a ballon". So that you get the Hellfire Link. I think it was just there to make sure we don't lose track, because they know we are stilling concentrating on the Julie and Candy video.

Ok, latest clue came from user "CSCH", and CSCH is also an integral, but I'm not good at math, so I'm not sure how that can be applied.

I check CSCH via matlab. But i dont get a clue out of it.

Because you can't input the whole code. It would be too big. So when i try single numbers, and add the CSCH function up the result is any number.

I do not think that this is really a hint.

Hey guys! Putting on my tinfoil hat to join you. Here's what I've got:

I don't think the YouTube number release necessarily means no more vinyl records. I think they may have put it together as a backup plan because they know where record 3 is or was supposed to be and something went wrong. I picture a scenario where number 3 was supposed to be released first and/or weeks ago but never caught fire like the RSD copy and disappeared so they're writing it off as a loss. Think of how simple it's been to release clues on YouTube. They know we're all scouring over videos so they knew we'd see it. Even if my theory is false, the next number will be someplace we'll definitely see and be able to confirm.

Also no one has mentioned that the melody clip in these teasers perhaps has nothing to do with the sound of a new record. They have years and years of piled up audio clips and melodies. I think it went down like "we're gunna do this scavenger hunt, but we want to put music with it so people know it's us. Let's shove that tune in we were working on that became Everything You Do Is A Balloon. Yeah that works."

I have a friend in Paris looking around record shops for me still. Fingers crossed!

The calculation in matlab:

I don't think there are other releases.

Yes i wondered this as well. The vinyl clues are all very well provided people actually release them but there is no guarantee people won't just ferret these discs away unplayed if they find them. I presume warp reps are in touch with the record shops involved and know when the records have been sold.

on the other hand i'm open to the idea maybe they'll use other media - newspaper/ billboard? TV? i'm quite intrigued to find out.

Damn it, I go to sleep because nothing is happening and then everything happens.

I'm lost now.

Just a thought: April 22, 1977 – Optical fiber is first used to carry live telephone traffic

Well, if those clues are anything to go by, I think we need to find the brothers pronto and examine their BEARDS for clues.

I haven't posted on here for years. Coming back on, it's like rewinding to the time a group of us on here tried to crack the red moon code. Lots of fun and headaches yet no solid answers at the end of it. M & M must be laughing at everything. They drop the bait and everyone runs with it. I still want to know what that code was all about and one day I may find out, or maybe not.

Good luck with this one fellas!

One point my mind leads to is that the finder of the first vinyl clue record (to me, based on standard viral marketing techniques) would be in on the game, to ensure it's seeded / sticks / propagated.

If it was down to pot luck and the record went unseen, there would be no web buzz.

Just one very important thought.

This - or at least it was sneakily put into the hands of someone who would immediately post it online.

I also have a strong suspicion that the person who found the blank codes in the Julie and Candy vid is a Warp plant - how did they just happen to find that subliminal frame on the right day?

Hey, someone just posted a series of strange pictures to the BoC facebook page, under the name of Justin Thyme.

First: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... e=1&ref=nf Seems to be a screengrab from the video with the chinese lettering.

Second: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... e=1&ref=nf Some type of painting, along with the words "Three Golden Apples from the Hesperian grove...". Roman numbers translate to 1617.

Third: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... e=1&ref=nf This robot was used as the profile picture for one of the youtube accounts, wasn't it? Numbers "11:1-9" I have no idea what they mean.

Justin Thyme facebook account seems to have a couple of previous pictures uploaded that connect to BoC, including a picture of a turqouise hexagon sun.
