them vocals sound dead dirty evil.

Yeah, I was smiling when I heard them, but there was nothing playful about it.

Does the main hook remind anyone of a slowed down Sequoia?

I thought this right away, but after listening a few more times (just a few, trying to not listen anymore until I get the official quality) I am wondering if it's just the similar beat and bouncy synth that reminds me of Sequoia. But I also heard little bits and pieces throughout the album reminiscent of the old tunes stuff. Wouldn't be surprised if they actually did re-work some of it.

And now the million dollar question...

Has anyone been able to figure out what is being said, or is it just gibberish?

This song chugs along, and you think this is dope. It's off kilter and strange.
About halfway through you start to see how focused and tight the rhythm is.
Then the build up comes and drops.
Then the vocals kick in.
Suddenly every hair on your arm stands straight up as you're covered in chill bumps.

3:07 3:20 & 3:33 yum.

I'm going to start throwing all of the tracks that have vocals and try to flesh them out and reverse them with my audio editor, to see what's inbetween the rows of all that muffled distortion.

I'll let everyone know when if I find anything, noteworthy.

Am I the only one who heard the F Bombs in this album? I swear, If it wasn't F Bombs then it was a word that sounds a lot like it or a lot like it in reverse.

I can find something I like about every other song but this one, I dunno. Just sounds like jungle zone music to a cheesy early 90s Mega-Drive game :?

Finally, someone that has the same opinion as me.

It really stands out and doesn't fit the album at all; it just sort of clumsily bumbles along and destroys the mood all the tracks before it were setting. It's a good track by itself, but it doesn't fit in the album at all.

This is initially my favorite track. I love it. The second part really reminds me of the same kind of direction they went on Nine-Rubber Wisdom from Old Tunes Vol. 2 for some reason. I always loved Nine-Rubber Wisdom and how they used the "Hey Mickey" sample.... Palace Posy has that kind of thing going on but in a different way.... and works so well. One of the high points of the album for me.

I can barely make out any words at all, let alone the F-bomb. Where specifically are you hearing it?

I would've said the words aren't in english. Sounds like some middle eastern language to me.

not referring to this track in particular but there are two tracks on this album that do sound like they have the f Bomb in them, they probably don't but it sounds like it. I'll post more, when I remember specifically where the voices are in the album. I only heard it once and it was all the way through.

I think the vox are like telephasic workshop and are pretty much chopped up beyond recognition. At one point I think I hear "let the..." and "flowers in the..." but I wouldn't swear to it.
All of old. Nothing else ever. Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.

Comparing a song to music from a cheesy early 90's Sega game is a glowing endorsement in my book.

thank you. there is much rhetoric and justifications for downloading the music before the band releases it. so lame.

It sounds to me like the start of the song is very calculated, like when they said some of their songs are made to relate to a mathematical pattern or such like. The vocals do sound like a middle eastern language if anything but maybe only because I just read that post before hearing them that time. Didn't they have some MySpace posts in Hindu or somethin?

no but this reminds me of the third to last track on loveless, when i listened on shrooms it sounded like they were saying "fuck you." I think it is a common experience among listeners.

anyway this is one of my favorite tracks on the new album.
