Can we start the rumor that a USB containing a remastered Maxima/OT is included?

Well that's pretty mundane as far as spreading blatantly false rumors goes. Why not go all the way and say that Hooper Bay was in there too?
If The Campfire Headphase was a butterfly, would Acid Memories be the caterpillar?
Spoiler: show
Unfortunately I have no clue lmao. But while you're here, go ahead and check out some of my tunes! You might dig 'em and stuff!

Either that or they're buying the equipment to start brewing their own Hexagon Sun beer and the "something special" is the knowledge that you made it happen.

Could you imagine Hexagon Sun craft brews and Whiskey? I'd lose my shit. Hell, if Mogwai could do it twice then BOC could definitely do it.

To paraphrase:

'Yeah, yeah, but you were so preoccupied with whether or not you could that you didn't stop to think if you SHOULD..'

One day, I'll have a nice BoC print on display in my home...not this year though, apparently.

It's a 'Christmas tomorrow's harvest party' in a radioactive zone full of purring kittens, Julie and a giant Candy

Now I know where the Self is. It's in our own minds. It's a form of human energy. Our atoms are six billion years old. We've got six billion years of memory in our minds.

And once again, the hopes and dreams are crushed of the Boards of Canada community.

Noh but seriously, this really is lame as fuck. To be fair it was a lame piece, and way overpriced. It bugs me to see people making money over the backs of BoC like this.

On the other hand, if most of the money really goes to BoC, and it will speeden up new material or whatever, then fine I guess.

This is the most I've ever spent on a A2 sheet of paper....in fact I don't think I ever bought just a single sheet of paper in my life. Feel a bit butt-raped but then again it's my own damn fault for being so materialistic for this band.

WOW

BoC really suck

Their music may be good, but if they don't feel bad about pulling this shit off, then they can go fuck themselves

I'm done with this band

Think that's a bit OTT, nobody is making you buy it. I understand the frustration of the lack of musical output but I couldn't give a shit about merch/periphery things myself, only the music.

Mate, first they talk about how materialistic everyone is, how society is screwed up, they release Tomorrow's Harvest and then they release 100 posters for 40 quid each. If they really are that desperate for money, they should release music. This poster isn't even cool, it's just TH artwork. It's lazy on so many levels. It's basically them saying "we know you'll gobble up everything we shit out, so here, spend some money on a coloured A2 piece of paper lol". It's absolutely abysmal behavior.

I have the original TH poster, but it's not like anyone made a big deal out of it or charged 40 pounds for it. And it wasn't limited to 100 copies as if posters are something to pray to. Christ...

To be honest I blame Warp for that not BoC themselves. I love their output but bless - they've always been less about saying anything meaningful about why some people live in stacked shoeboxes in tower blocks than they've been masturbatory about their 'brutalist concrete majesty' on the Sheffield horizon. Less about saying anything meaningful about capitalism as laughing with tDr about how much they can make an albums artwork look like a barcode or a till receipt. Expecting people to spaff £40 on a poster is unsurprising in that context. Never mind the quality feel the (smooth uncoated premium) width.

For Fucks Sake! This is BLEEP selling the posters, NOT BOC. They (bleep) probably had some promotional items they held back for a rainy day,and have now decided to sell for an arm and a leg. No one has to buy them. Its bleep who have made out that these items are special and one off...
Boc material is sold on and off the internet at varying prices. The guys don't have a a say in the price any individual wants to sell these items at. lots of their stuff is out there at extorionate prices , vinyl cd's stickers prints etc, it's not their fault.
Bit harsh blaming Boc and shouting off about it.
Write a letter to bleep or email them and tell them what Scunners ( old Scottish word) they are.
