Apologies for necroing.

On foxtel here there's music played in the channel selection screen, and I have it on sometimes as it's quite good. I heard Peacock Tail on it a while ago, which was rather nice.

"Slow The Bird Down" playing over the PA at an Aqua Park in Portugal. My Father-in-Law remarked, "What's this rubbish?"

the strangest place to hear boc is hell

I don't know. If they played the early records, and they were horrible, it would be quite fitting.

I once heard BoC clips in a Nova documentary called "Dirty Bomb" that I watched in a high school Biology class. I was sitting there, half paying attention when I heard BoC...my head immediately shot up as that was the first time I'd ever heard them without putting it on myself. A very pleasant surprise, and in a documentary, too.

Another time was in one of my college psychology courses, interestingly enough. We were watching a documentary about Philip Zimbardo's classic prison experiment, and a few BoC clips were played throughout. Awesome to see that BoC, so influenced themselves by documentary music, have become the soundtrack to a new generation of films. :)

I recently attended Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo BC in the middle of the forest on a private ranch. Estimated over 12000 people. This is the kind of fetival you might see BOC play at especially at the beach stage. Anyways, I was using one of the porta potties and I hear some guy walking by playing a BOC song on a boom box. I can't rememer what track because I was blasted on certain chemicals but it was humbling to hear.
