Can you think of anything else that talks, other than a person?

But will it really be fixed or will you guys keep talking about tightened buttocks and juices on chins?

if you haven't listened to Since I Left You in its entirety, you need to get onto that.

Yeah, you guys really derailed this thread. Please do it somewhere else. Thank you.

guys, i seriously don't think that this complex song is Noatak.

and just going on a sample that kiiiiiiiind of sounds like "Noatak" doesn't mean it is.

i could be wrong. but i highly doubt that this track is from Hooper Bay.

Upon searching in google, that appears to be by "The Avalanches".

Never heard of them. Pretty good?

Absolutely, it's one of the greatest electronic albums ever released and this is a perfect time of the year to have a listen :) Plus this year seems to finally be the year they release their second LP which will be amazing no doubt.

Ditto this, it's fantastic. On another positive note, you can also enjoy the music and console yourself that Avalanches fans have waited over 10 years for the next album and it's still reportedly in the pipeline, so we don't have it that bad :D

Am I the only one here who does not hear any voice saying either "cigarette butt" or "see the rainbow" at the points the OP indicated? I'm not picking up on any vocal samples at those moments, although the poor quality of the recording and my playing it through my built-in laptop speakers may be obscuring the sample a bit.

Yup, I hear it right at those times. It definitely sounds like "see the rainbow" to me.

I am not sure how I missed this thread the first time around. Consider this. How many times has Boards of Canada directly referenced the title of a song in the song itself other than the short vignettes? Have they done it enough that you would consider it something they are likely to do? Are they likely to have found a sample of the word Noatak? If you can find a sample of the word Noatak that Boards of Canada might have had access to then you might find your answer.

As if a BoC track is going to have the vocal 'cigarrette butt' in it. PMSL at the absurbity of that.
