I'm starting to kind of agree with you, man.

ha, i have to kind of agree though. I think having the NPR one three times now is a bit much. It's disappointing to be waiting for more clues, then have something happen, only to get a code repeated again. Feel like the thing is kind of losing momentum by doing this.

Ha ha I just wanted something before going back to the mundane Monday to Friday drag.

Ok I'm pretty sure that voice in the end is reversed in that third clip (717228, didn't try others yet). When reversed sounds like 4-1-2 then the regular boc numbers, jingle and then you can hear it saying 1 again I think, in Russian or other similar language. I'm from Croatia and numbers in our languages are similar so I think I recognize it. Also that voice goes on throughout the whole clip even when jingle/numbers are going on and the beeping sound is part of it I think. It could be just the number station radio thing, some other number station is interfering with BoC station frequency or something.

Let's not forget, it's a Sunday night. Even BOC /Warp are allowed an evening off

The first three numbers are a little tough to make out, but I definitely hear the last three...215.

Why the heck would you post in this thread if you're getting tired of the game? If I were getting tired of it, I'd go find something else to do.
With the Spanish Harvest information we've been receiving, on top of the Toonami commercial (fucking baller btw, i didn't even recognize the footy being from the other day's events at first. they totally got me) it'd be surprising if it were not titled Cosecha.

I'm not tired of it. I'm looking forward to the album; the pre-release shenanigans are fun and are bringing listeners together on online communities like this one (like the MBV server crash on a larger scale).
It's not like I'm obligated to be thinking about it all the time either.

I agree with this - I still think this has been a fantastic way to promote an upcoming album but I think the Rough Trade video thing was the first time they've put a foot wrong in all of this. Before that I had been in the IRC chat for days on end and constantly on Twoism but after all the excitement building up with the video playing and then it turning out to just be the NPR code has left me quite deflated to the point where I'm just checking things periodically. I've felt all along that not revealing where the code was meant to go was a mistake on NPR's part and that the Rough Trade video was meant to be the final code but they've had to rethink things - part of me thinks the Adult Swim bump was just a final confirmation to remove all doubt about the placement of the NPR code having had two failed attempts at it and was maybe done after reading all the speculation that a bumper would appear on AS.
Of course, all just speculation on my part but I think a lot of people had their excitement build to fever pitch and peak during the Rough Trade video and have been left disappointed and not as into the whole thing after it.
This is not meant as a criticism of Warp/BoC at all. 99% of this whole thing has been absolutely genius and I'm in awe at the things they've managed to do in promoting this - I hope more bands take up this approach. I think the key though is knowing how long to drag it out for and maybe the NPR code coming up three times is just a bit too much.

I know, but it seems that this soundcloud user applied another technique to the two pieces of audio using whatever "(20k 1%)" written on the graph was referring to...Anyone know what (20k 1%) means exactly?

After 8 years with the square root of fuck all, I'm more than happy if they drag this out for quite some time yet. My guess is that this time next week we'll have ALOT my information including the release date and possibly the album title confirmed.
Just relax and enjoy this pleasant adventure

The 20k 1% refers to the resistor connecting pins 2 and 3 or the output XLR side of the circuit schematic in the Σ files' soundcloud pages.

It's kinda starting to feel like the games, you know, those video games where you're having a lot of fun and you get far and you're like shit this is pretty dank, then all of a sudden you have to backtrack through the levels you've already been through and you're like, damn what happened?
