On the ambient channel on Radio AOL that I think is XM on the instant messenger. Like everyone else. Heard one song and then went into the back catalog, and now is waiting for something new!!

Used to be obsessed with Beck, and when they remixed Guerolito, I checked out all the contributing artists. BoC really caught my *ear?* though. I almost cry every time I hear Broken Drum now.

Really hate to say it but reading an interview w/Thom Yorke around the time of Kid A and him name dropping BoC. Checked them out (geogaddi) and have been a fan ever since.

I thought i posted this before...hmm not sure..arh i dunno...anyways my fisrt Boc album was Geogaddi which i downloaded in .flac and at the same time MHTRTC it blew me away,so then i went on a mission to to buy all that i could find! Who says downloading is bad?

I was the one that didn't remember many years later when I got into them that it was what she'd played for me. she knew what they were up to all along, obviously.
when she understood how much I liked them later, she made cassette copies of her old tapes and photocopied the covers and all. this was just about a year and a half ago.

A UK Magazine called "Select" had a free tape or CD which had Roygbiv on it. It was easily the best song on the compilation.
I went to my local record emporium and pre-ordered "MHTRTC".

Fascinating, like the rest I'd love to know what those tapes were/are. When you say she was related, you mean by blood/marriage, or she was part of Hexagon Sun, or a general friend?

Not even the slightest bit of substantial material of what has been given to him has been shared with any of us. And I perfectly understand him perhaps not being allowed to share any info at all, but then why does he spoil the beans in his posts? That's unnecessary teasing imho from a for now unverified source of info.

one thing that does irk me about frequenting twoism is that when i was in college, i took a senior seminar on epistemology and then another senior seminar on david hume, who had a lot to say about the subject himself.

yes, I was pretty shocked when she reminded me that BoC were her relatives. they're blood relatives and she's actually in the geogaddi sleeve, as well as her brother. those are all family pictures. pretty cool, I think.
anyway, small world. I ask her from time to time what the guys are up to and she mostly has the scoop on the more family-related stuff more than the new album stuff, understandably.
the tapes she's made me copies of are stuff that has all leaked. if any of it hadn't, there's no way I'd betray her and leak it myself.
I'm not really keen on trying to convince anyone here, but if you look, I've mentioned this before.

so the stuff has already been leaked. so are they physical copies of the old tunes tapes? could you PLEASE scan the artwork so we can have some better images of that stuff?
