What's interesting is there are intentional black highlights added above each tyre. Two tyres = perhaps a subtle hint at... two brothers?

Maybe it's a stretch, but the editing is clearly very deliberate, and I can't think of anything else obvious it could be alluding to.

"humans like to feel there's a purpose", I've often felt the meaning of life is to create one's own meaning. I would argue that spirituality and art in some form is almost as important to a healthy human being as food and water. Fringe concerns may thrive in an environment where there is good reason for conspiracy, they may also thrive when there is a lack of other material to sustain oneself. "From one source all things depend" could be a reference to god, and it would be logical to think so given the words spoken in the song. It could also reference the big bang when all matter in the known universe was condensed to a single point

May I ask as to why you chose to put the 1min and 44 seconds long silent track "Magic Window" at the end of your album, is there a significance?

Mike: This expresses the innocence of children who repeat the words and ideas of parents and teachers without much consideration for the true meaning or context. This can be seen as something both pleasant and slightly unnerving, on the other hand.

You would report someone on twoism just for offering a tin foil hat, when they self admittedly said such was tinfoil? I say let people speculate, even if it's silly or just for fun. Your message comes off as unnecissarily angry, and also kinda comes off as if you gatekeep theories / speculation.

Its definitely not the most crazy theory that's been proposed. I really don't think Peter will be the one to break the news at all and people need to stop reading so deeply into his posts. He's just trying to do his own thing and be an artist. People should be reading deeper into what his art is trying to say, with out just connecting it to Boards Of Canada.

Why august? I don't get the impression of any announcement this year. I think the new merch and a couple of old tunes is all we are getting. Check back next year. But I stand to be corrected as always.

Why august?

This year, we noticed that Apple Music, unlike all other digital platforms, listed Twoism EP with a release date of August 15, 1995. Note that Apple Music only requires a full yyyy-mm-dd release date format for releases after 2000. Of course, only the label can make this change. I find it remarkable that they didn't just enter August 1995, as everywhere else. A full date was not mandatory.

This effectively means that August 15 of this year marks the 30th anniversary of Twoism.
You could feel the three decades of BoC.

In any case, this is a great milestone. I would be surprised if I don't hear anything about it from either BoC, Warp, Bleep, or the press. Talking about press, I can already imagine the headlines where they link BoC's three decades spanning career to a potentially new album.

They deserve appraisal for 30 years of great music.

I'd say it's within reasonable realms to assume the bros set out a period of time where they could travel, make an album and all the other life things and set a date for the release of the next album well in advance.

They could have been doing that for the last 25 years or so.

Maybe some numerology does play a role, But maybe in a more abstract way than we are predicting.

Perhaps we can use the paint by numbers Aquarius insert as a one time pad.
