I'm super psyched for the new album. Totally am. Loved the clue hunt, loved the reveal.

The video for the album is really amazing and intriguing at the same time. I love dark ambient, and this is right in my wheelhouse : superb, foreboding chord progression with spot on visuals and hazy background radio noise to boot. I'm secretly hoping the album is some more of that. I'd love for them to go completely ambient, their atmospheres could really benefit from this. But I'm not going to expect too much just from the trailer. I know it's going to be good, and interesting, and original, it always is.

However on a side note, maybe this has been discussed before, I don't know, but I was trying to log on again to cosecha-transmisiones to see the video in it's full glory (youtube's fine but between the white background, the interface and stuff there's just too much "distraction" I think) and I couldn't get the password to work. I thought I just botched a couple of numbers but I've tried three or four times now and can't get it to work. Is it just me?

interesting, I'll try that. I actually thought it might have been a brass instrument at first and not a synth at all.

I will add a speck of speculation (ha! witty)

Geogaddi featured predominantly a phrase that stuck most... "the past inside the present"

I have a feeling Tomorrow's Harvest will be the future inside the present, the references are plentiful enough to support that. Just can't wait to listen to it in all it's glory.

Hot damn that's nuts. As a person who can barely afford groceries some weeks I can't even comprehend having that much money to throw around on an acetate dubplate. It's not even mint! Can you imagine if we all got one with our preorders? Talk about caveat emptor.

Just out of curiosity, did anyone here bid on it? Also if the highest bidder is here, can I borrow some money? (Just kidding sort of)

I respect your opinion and all, but oh man do I hope it's nothing like what you describe. An ambient album would be utterly boring, IMO.

I bid on it around the $500 mark; I can't afford to go any higher at the moment... I really hope that whoever gets it distributes a high quality rip of the audio, though I somehow doubt that happening.

How do we know it's an acetate dubplate btw? Was that revealed by the seller? I guess that means it's only got around 50 plays until it noticeably degrades.
I make music as Sweguno.

Regarding my "sped up" version of the tomorrow's harvest transmission...I figured that if you speed up the static as well...there seem to be some type of synth tabs hidden thre...If someone would pm me with their email I could send him/her the file to upload (becaus I suck at those things)

I don't think new album will be dark ambient, it just doesn't fit the tracks' lengths.
