So far I'm consumed by the thought "There is so much amazing music out there that I haven't heard."

Unbelievably cynical marketing by Warp here to string us along. They knew full well what we'd all be tuning in for.
I wish to remain neutral, but here is how the situation likely went down in the event that this is purely a mix
BoC make and release music at their own pace.
Warp: But its our 30th! You have to do something.
BoC: ...
Warp: ...
BoC: Mixtape?
Warp: Mixtape
-Later that day-
Warp: BOARDS OF CANADA PLAYING WARP 30
BoC: ...sigh.
These tracks are beautiful regardless of origin, though.
Really, they are. It reminds me of going through my father's record collection ten years back, but with added synths.
Are any of these remixes?

Strong 80s vibes on this one. I feel like I'm in Vice City or somethin'

You can totally see the influence that last one had on them (the one before the synthpoppy one with the high-pitched vocals), with its unusual time signature and chord progression.

Always cool to hear artists make a mixtape of other stuff/influences.

I'm just happy to listen to a couple hours of tunes that's been curated by them, anything else beyond that is a bonus to me.
I feel certain we are gonna hear somthing unheard, whether we realise its them or not is the question at this point lol

Absolutely, same here. If nothing else, this'll send me down a rabbit hole of new music.

Would've been real cool to get a studio version of Spiro, after last anniversary's snippet.
I want not to be disappointed by this, but I can't help myself.
