look at the key signatures (sorry they're in camelot #s) - most of these songs are keyed in pairs... those that aren't are special

oh i think Gemini and Cold Earth go together too if you bend one of them by 2st. Palace posy turns into a dance number at +6st and I recommend the rest at -6st

I just tried layering Sundown and Transmisiones Ferox on top of each other and it sounds really awesome!

You got it, Sithlord. Play "come to dust" and "reach for the dead" on top of each-other, that's another good one. The beats even match up if you do it right. Such a beautiful gift from the bros, to make a bunch of pairs of twins.

At the end of the reach for the dead video, there are those two spheres that divide from the sun, while the original sphere looks like it's fading (dying?). At first I thought it was a reference to the trinity (yeah, I know, I know) but now seeing this, could it be that all of the twins are derived from the outliers (the "special" tracks) in form and/or structure?
I've also noticed in many of the tracks that themes that seem to follow each other either in unison or support and then suddenly change when one of the themes varies. I've thought a lot about how this (as well as other indicators such as how there are two separate "parts" to the songs, two columns of structure, seemingly two "sides" to the album, etc.) might be an insight to how the brothers are drifting apart. Constants are changing.

Adam and Eve
Beginning.
Palace Posy.
Man and women unite to birth offspring.
After all, even music has the right to children.

<3 well actually those few outliers probably belong with some of the other pairs, as harmonies, but maybe not... there's probably just two that don't go with anything else, further emphasizing the symbolism of the twins and presenting the relationship between chord and dischord, and the difference between the ordered and the simultaneous <3

Outstanding discovery!!
Might try this for myself with my TH vinyl!!
So, it seems that music is math and the devil is (really!) in the details... again!!
I'd be intrigued to know if any of these "blended tracks" will blend with each other?

It was stated in that interview the other day that "Gemini" and the closing track are palindromic, and I believe someone pointed out they share the exact tripling of notes somewhere. They also stated that "Come to Dust" is a musical reprise of "Reach For the Dead."
Interesting to see this is holding up, except for Gemini having a different key progression from the closing track.
