that is an interesting question. all of these photos have to have something in common. i doubt they would just be using a bunch of random images from the internet

I remember the full size version of this image was the background to their YouTube channel for a while, I am sure I emailed myself the image at some point but I can't seem to find it. I assumed the brothers took it whilst on a wintery Icelandic adventure of some sort....

Did anyone happen to save these images? Might have to write to that university to get images if not.

Now we need to find the original photo with matching sunlight :D

"Named for three towering figures of the Old Testament (...) Frederick Vining Fisher, a Methodist minister, gave religious names to the peaks"

This intertwines well with the image of the cross. There seem to be two themes: Radio transmissions and Christianity.

Might I wager the death of Religion in the western world being Directly proportional to the rise of people viewing technology as their new god? Whether they are aware of their doing so or not. That part of their mind is occupied with technology now.

Edit: There is a possibility that they took the photograph themselves.

Just discovered this thread, and it's brilliant! Super interesting comment here. And, I agree, I think these are the primary texts--I think BOC spent a lot of time taking these photos.

Hard to tell :-?

What do you see?

I see a seed falling off as a seedling emerges; or a tomatillo?

Edit: Just caught up with the whole thread; it's amazing. I can see now that these military figures in gas masks is definitely a theme in the images. But I thought this image above could represent the new seeds aspect of the album.

Edit 2: An update to my previous comment--I guess BOC are more like curators and manipulators of these photographs.

Anyone else find it kind of mean that BoC purposely flipped most of these images so they couldn't be found easily?

Like, they knew that's what people would want to do, so they just flipped 'em around?

"good luck finding them now, lol"

Poster with a repress? I think the only TH poster that was sold was the Advent Calendar one.

There has not been a repress of TH yet, afaik. Definitely no poster with that release. There is a poster included in the repress of Hi Scores though.
