Things that are giving me hope that will subsequently lead to me being disappointed when nothing happens on 5/22.

-Spotify “error” showing 1969 as “1905-05-22.”
-Second jazz ensemble performance of MHTRTC added on 5/22.
-Some numerological shit or something, according to Opothecary.

So ready to be let down in 3 weeks!

I don't think anything will happen on 5/22, but they want us to think there is, if that makes sense (probably not)

Boc become mure active on social network recently. With all these coincidences, it's very intriguing

10/14/16 - Left Side Drive - add 55 days until the next post - speed limit in the depicted area (Banff) is 110kmh - LSD video is 5:22

12/8/16 - Open the Light - add 110 days until the next post

3/28/17 - Dayvan Cowboy - deleted a tweet earlier that day from 3/11/12 - the deleted tweet lived 5 years and 17 days (5:17 - 2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!)

5/22/17 - this never happened - but add 55 days to 3/28/17 if it did

3/22/18 - Buckie High - video is 5:17 - reversed, day 715 of the ARG is 5/22/18

3/28/18 - Youtube video playlist refresh (first time that they did something on the same date in consecutive years?) +23 days

4/20/18 - Youtube video playlist refresh - MHTRTC goes to the top in order +32 days

It's not going to happen though, but appreciate their efforts in making you think that it will, if you thought about it too much along the way.

Bonus - They used a timestamp of 3:11 for tweets once in 2016 and once in 2017 - reverse it to 113 to give you the Spotify timestamp +113 years - 5/22/1905 -> 5/22/2018

Bonus #2 - They added just one more video to their playlist last year on 4/3/17 - the Echus plane crash video, probably quite the polar opposite emotionally to the official Dayvan Cowboy video that they tweeted a week earlier - this video was published to Youtube on 2/20/16 (55+110+55=220 - 10/14/16 -> 12/8/16 - >3/28/17 -> 5/22/17 - but again, the last never happened, but "Mr. Mistake" did shortly after - and that video depicted a pretty big mistake)

Maybe they’re trying to make it seem like it will happen, so that we think it won’t because it’s too obvious, with the ultimate twist being that it will and that they’re throwing us a friggin’ bone for once!

Also, I referred to it as numerological shit, but FWIW, BoC have used numerology references frequently enough through the years I don’t think your theories are particularly far-fetched. Especially when you consider that their use of social media is a new thing.

I knew they were going to release the old stuff eventually just right after the next album just like they said A decade ago
