https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA6DctDR1b8I do not know if this is a fake. There are no information about this (beside the audio). It is obvious the uploader did not compose the music. Any confirmation is welcome in this thread.

Wow, I never thought after years of waiting we would finally get a new Rare BoC from non-other than the youtube account "Oculous OFFICIAL ACCOUNT"
Here we go with yet another fake sample that doesn't even sound like boards of canada and a thread popping up here just one hour after its posted.
"Pitched due to copyright.
Fair use as it is a excerpt only." What a troll

This is the introduction to Peter Serafinowicz's "Look Around You" series.
Peter is affilated with Hexagon Sun, though and it always stated that the music was by "Gelg" (fictional)
It isn't a long shot to say that BoC were involved in the music for that series as it is a mockery of the educational videos you would get in the UK in the 70s etc. I remember quite a few similar ones when I was growing up as we had outdated materials so it is quite nostalgic for me, too.
Anyway, I have always said that I believe a lot of the music in that series is by BoC.
It is strange that the uploader chose that in particular, maybe they heard it and thought "Boards of Canada" but didn't know that there was an association there, even more reason to think it could be the case.
Is it seaward leaf? No.
Is it BoC? Maybe!

Again, the chances of BoC not being involved in this are actually relatively slim:
Really enjoyable series, too.

Serafinowicz and Robert Popper wrote the music to Look Around You themselves in the vein of 70s educational shows. It’s similar to the aesthetic of the Ghost Box stable of musicians too. Although they’re both big fans of BoC, I’ve never heard of them being associated with the band in any way.
Serafinowicz did a BoC radio mix around the time of TH, was a good listen:

Exactly; you put it much more succinctly than I did!

I have read the interview where Serafinowicz claims to have made the music himself in the past. That doesn't necessarily make it true.

Put it this way. Does Hexagon Sun exist solely for the purposes of making music? Does it exist solely for BoC?

Hey, I am sorry. You are right in saying that there is no definitive link, it was just my own gut feeling that I allowed to go unchecked. His being a fan of BoC doesn't mean there is much of a connection. It just seemed surreal at the time considering the type of music and the audio equipment used, combine that with the fact that BoC have been involved in projects that we will honestly never know they were involved in, and you can see how conclusions can be come to about certain things.

Well, why can’t we get Hexagon Sun to release Hopper Bay. It kills me on the inside that BOC fakes are hiding everwhere.

Are you sure you didn't upload this? You and the uploader have the exact same typing style, right down to the blatant errors ("Steward Leaf", "Hopper Bay").

Disregarding that though, it is indeed totally lame that the internet's clogged up with fake garbage misrepresented as the lost albums but at the end of the day the only ones that can get Hexagon Sun to release it are Mike and Marcus themselves. Not sure when/if something would convince them to actually do it, but it's entirely out of our hands at this point.

No I’m not Oculous.
Also, I will want to contact Hexagon Sun if they could let me listen to Hooper Bay and Play by Numbers. I do not want to get a DMCA notice from BOC. I may post the 2 online, if they are certificaly vertified by 747music.
