Soooo....
It turns out that the monologue sample for Sixtyniner and Sir Prancelot Brainfire is from the adult film "Summer of '72" https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0128647/. Definitely has been the most awkward sample to sleuth, but thankfully it didn't take too much investigation.

BUT...it also turns out that "Summer of '72" was the source for the background music/love scene samples in Niagara and P:C:.

AND...there happens to be a character duo named Julie and Candy in the film, which is too good to be a coincidence ;)

Also the music during the monologue sample is eerily similar to the melodies found in The Color of the Fire /I Love U. It feels like the music especially during the beach sunset and fireplace scenes must have been very influential. It reminds me a lot of Bruce Langhorne's works.

Anyway, pornographic content aside, it really is a lovely monologue and there are some really nice cinematographic gems here and there. For your convenience I uploaded a short video montage with the audio sources of the BoC samples (Disclaimer: there's NO NUDITY but obviously contains ADULT THEMES).

Maybe that's why we haven't seen any Hexagon Sun movies

Hot diggety damn, someone finally found it! Spectacular work, Zoso! Lots of good sample finds coming up this year, I wonder if there'll be any more before 2021 starts?
If The Campfire Headphase was a butterfly, would Acid Memories be the caterpillar?
Spoiler: show
Unfortunately I have no clue lmao. But while you're here, go ahead and check out some of my tunes! You might dig 'em and stuff!

Can't find anything about who created the music. I thought it would have been interesting to dig deeper into this.

That Color of the Fire “sample” bit gave me chills. It definitely sounds like they really re-recorded it rather than sample it, with some slight differences maybe, but that’s it for sure. I’ve always loved the synth line in that song.

There's another sample, a song that plays from 17:44 to 18:03 in the 1:16:05 version. More of an inspiration really cause I don't think they used the same piece of music shown in the movie.
It appears in the reversed version of the track 3 played live at warp 10.
I recognized it because I uploaded it to youtube a few years ago:

These are all great finds and all but the one thing I can never shake with their porn samples is that they must have watched this together. The thought of watching porn with my brother is exceptionally weird to me.

So all that stuff about Julie and Candy being about an exorcism in America was wrong it seems.

It's funny how with this just like the Sesame Street thing that all turned out to be from one episode... when they decide they're going to sample something they go back to the same well time and again. People have gushed for years about how they're plucking all this obscure stuff from all over but like, it comes from so few sources! That's not a dig; they couldn't do it if they weren't so good at knowing how to make the most of what they take.

caballero control corporation - brought in some great porn vids during this golden age. Many of them have fantastic soundtracks.

That particular movie is a play on 'The Summer of '42'. I feel it's very interesting that they used the melody from the porn movie alongside The Colour of Fire. It's particularly haunting that film because it's of a place far removed from the horrors that were unfolding within a certain nation in 1942.

No matter what genocidal carnage and brutal violence is going on in one corner of the world. You can guarantee that within another pocket of the globe, someone is falling in love. The love affair of destruction and creation. God and the Devil. Heaven and Hell.

The theory I've heard most often about Julie and Candy is that it refers to the death of Candace "Candy" Newmaker during a "rebirthing" session (an abusive, debunked form of child "therapy.") The therapist who killed Candy was named Julie.

I'm kind of surprised that turned out not to be the source of the title, as it fits so perfectly with the mood and themes of Geogaddi.
