I'm going offline starting 5/22 but I definitely don't have the self control to hold off all month. Bring on the single, I have all the faith it's going to kick major ass.

I thought the same, of waiting. Then laughed to myself because I know it's not possible.

Gonna listen tomorrow, gonna watch the videos from the listening party and going to listen to any album leaks too.

Gonna enjoy those fully, and really gonna enjoy the full release on the 29th

The video has credits for "Big Active" alongside Robert Beatty.

"Big Active" is a design firm that previously worked with Neil Krug. Coincidence? THINK NOT

1420 MHz is a protected radio frequency kept as quiet as possible for radio astronomy.
Around observatories like Green Bank, even nearby towns limit Wi-Fi, cell signals, and other transmissions to preserve that silence.
Because of that, 1420 MHz feels like a “silent frequency” made for listening into deep space.

There's no way I can hold off, but I'll absolutely do my best to limit repeat listens until the album drops.

Really interesting we're getting a video for two consecutive tracks - lends credence to theories we'll be getting visuals for the full album.

Have been doing my best not to wear out Tape 05 these last few weeks so really glad we're getting another tasty morsel to chew on before release day.

Fine, I'll listen. I'll get a teaser that will have my brain scratching until the 29th. Why not. It wont hurt? Surely?

I had to think about it, too. I'm a self-aware maximizer, with years of worry wrinkles. Haha. You can over engineer your decisions. Be not anxious, be excited. I'm going to watch/listen tomorrow. It won't be the second it drops, because I have some travel booked. But I packed my headphones! How I see it: this is the next key step in the month-long experience, designed, or at least approved, by the Creators. Given to us with a courtesy headsup. OTOH, I purposefully listened to Tape 05 before watching it, eyes closed gently, to hear it with my undivided brain. I'm going to receive this video single/album intro in all of its beauty, as one statement. On caffeine. They're back.

It’s true. I thought about waiting, but this is being presented as a premiere. I am going to avoid overplaying though, and may not listen at all after tomorrow until hearing the full album.

I am definitely waiting until the 29th.

Those of you who claim you can't avoid it or control yourself or whatever. My advice to you is only allow yourself to listen once or twice, maybe 3 times tops.

Do not over indulge. This music is meant to be listened to all together, and the more you play this single, the less impact it will have and thus without a doubt will poke a hole in your experience of the album.
