When the press release said Inferno draws from the esoteric vibes of the Societas X Tape, I think this is one of the tracks that does that. BoC showed their love of classic 80s British library music and this song is an amazing example of that sound. It makes me think of classic 80s Bruton and KPM.

Some deduping of the individual tracks threads going on? I'll say here what I said in the other one, the chord choices in this one are *wild*.

This one should be the proper one since the other one mistakenly labelled this as track 4

Unbelievable track. Possibly their best outro, on par with Happy Cycling, Satellite Anthem Icarus, and Left Side Drive.

Calling it now that this is the most slept on track of the record. It's almost Vaporwave. Shouldn't ya'll be loving this one?

Getting some Thomas Dolby vibes of this - reminiscent of "Budapest by Blimp" and those glassy 80s synths. Lovely.

I wonder about the title. You know in the latest Rambo flick, when Rambo's disciple beats Ivan Drago's and the commentator goes something like "now the Russian audience is giving the American athlete a standing ovation" whilst epic music plays? That's what you'd call una americanada in Spanish.

The more I listen to That synth line in this the more obsessed I am by it. Firstly just the fucken wild choice of chord lines it picks out. I don't know what mood that makes me feel but it makes me feel it a lot.
But the details. The way you can almost hear it spinning, at faster and slower rates on different bits, the way it folds into a microtuned other bit... ugh. Love it

Probably my fav track of the album, title is also badass, the track sounds like the theme of one of those dystopian 80's movie about a giant survival game that would take place in a post-apocalyptic north america, like a crossover between Mad Max and Running Man

Or Escape From New York, though I don't recall what the music is actually like in that movie. But 80's movie soundtrack definitely is what I was hearing too.
I love the whole thing but I kinda wish it built to a second climax in the second half

I'm so glad I'm not alone in thinking this - while this was spinning in the car the very first thing I thought of was that it reminded me a lot of Mark Shreeve's work for Bruton, more specifically his track "Mephisto" off of Oracle. Just fantastic synthwork
