Does anyone know what that sound is that's used a lot on MHTRTC and sometimes on Geogaddi. Specifically on MHTRTC, it's on the song "Color Of The Fire" and it carries the melody on Turquoise Hexagon Sun. I don't know if anyone knows but it's the most amazing sound I've ever heard.
P.S.
Sorry for posting so many topics today, I'm feeling kind of sick today so I'm just sitting at my computer.

Yeah I've wondered before, they seem to use that patch an awful lot. It seems to just be a nice little bright electric piano vibraphone sounding thing.

I'd assumed they were using a real electric piano, or pianos. Who knows? Could be a sample or a Korg M1 patch for all I know though.

That swirly noise features in the intro to the live version of the color of the fire too. I'm pretty certain it's a sample from Oxygene Part II by Jean Michelle Jarre. Anyone else think so or not?

Turquoise Hexagon Sun
The Color of Fire
Kid For Today
Sunshine Recorder
Peacock Tail
Dayvan Cowboy
Tears from the Compound Eye (maybe)
Zander Two (just perhaps)

If you mean the EP sound it is in Tears From The Compound Eye, towards the end, very quietly.
There is _a_ EP sound in Zander Two so, yeah, that passes; whether or not its the same one.
However I don't remember it in Sunshine Recorder and that's pretty much my favourite BoC song. All the twinkly stuff and the strings in the background.. yeah, its pretty hot.
Oh and it's in Twoism and Oirectine (warped at the start) I'd say, too.
p.s. MAYBE ITZ DER SECKIT WEAPONS.
(I had to.)

Nah, listening to it now. There's nothing in there exactly like that. Some pretty close stuff though. Plus, if they sampled it, there would be a beat going in the background.
I think they probably just made it. Would be incredibly easy.
Also yeah, I'm guessing that E Piano would be the dominate instrument in the cited examples. That or a simulation, which you can pretty much do with a sine wave.
