My brother showed me Salad Fingers 2. I instantly loved the cartoon. I did some research about it later on Fat-Pie.com. I saw that under 'Music Used' for that particular cartoon had two songs called 'Beware The Friendly Stranger' and 'Over The Horizon Radar'.Knowing this, but not thinking much of the music, I watched the cartoon again and realized that the music was really interesting. The first song I ever heard by Boards of Canada was 'Beware The Friendly Stranger'. The first song I ever downloaded by Boards of Canada was 'Over The Horizon Radar' on January 16, 2009 at 12:00 a.m. The next five tracks I downloaded were Turquoise Hexagon Sun, Dawn Chorus, Music is Math, Roygbiv, and Open The Light. I fell in love. Ironically a few weeks later my brother asked what kind of music I had been listening to lately and I proceeded to show him BoC. He listened to 'Roygbiv' and said it was 'Okay'. Later that night I looked on his iPod and was shocked to see he had downloaded Roygbiv, Over The Horizon Radar, Into The Rainbow Vein, Kaini Industries, and turquoise Hexagon Sun! Little does he know, HE is the one who technically founded BoC for the both of us! For BoC I would like to thank my brother, David Firth, Michael Sandison, and Marcus Eoin Sandison. That's my story. :D

I was in my mate's attic, smoking a shisha pipe that was making me very light headed and totally relaxed, with the early summer sun illuminating the room. He put on Sixtyniner and that's it really! Thought it was the best music ever and still do.
