Can anyone tell me why the Atalanta Fugiens channel in my YouTube favorites has a blue dot next to it? That means there should be some new content, some change. Anyone else see this? Notice any changes? Anything embedded in the Julie and Candy video?

This could definitely be something. I’m pretty familiar with YouTube and the blue dot means recent activity. This could be a recent sign-in, comment, or an uploaded video (private or unlisted).

I remember people from Reddit were distinctly searching for it. They found other engravings of the Plaque similar to it, but never the actual one.

It reminds me a lot of that Tomorrow Land photo from Societas where people searched for it, finding similar photos of Cement Gravel and Rock performing, but couldn't find the exact photo.

Which of course makes you think whether the images came from BOC themselves. Could they own their own custom engraving of the Pioneer's Plaque and/or been at Tomorrow Land in 1973 as children? The world may never know

I stumbled onto this image a week ago. It could just be they/someone manipulated the image in Photoshop. But it could also be something they own?

A simple levels adjust could get you close, and use clone stamp tool to remove the facial features.

Or we talking about a different image?

Pretty sure they edited the image and added the hexagon.

Also I'm 99% sure the exact Societas X image was indeed located.

I just realized that when you abbreviate Societas X Tape it ends up looking like Sex Tape abbreviated.

Then again, there is a part in Societas with a woman breathing heavily now that I think about it. Was that actually music or taken from a porn soundtrack?

I've had a theory that it's actually a underwater image capture of an octopus or something kind of attacking the camera. Flip the image on the side and imagine the black parts as the water/void and the "right cheek" part as it's head/body. At any rate the "forehead" part definitely looks like octopus suckers.
Would ask Matoseb (who did all the reverse image finds for Tomorrow's Harvest) to work his magic, but looks like he's not on twoism anymore?

Probably it's this new comment in the discussions tab (from 10 hours ago)

Those comments were a while ago, though. The blue dot is brand new. And people comment on the BOC videos all the time and no blue dots appear for that. (I also follow the official BOC.)

Remember how they embedded “one got fat” into this Julie and Candy video? Rewatch it now if you can—notice anything different? To me, something seems brighter, clearer about the video. I watch it occasionally, but is anyone more familiar with the video able to notice anything new?

A Private video seems likely. Perhaps a test run for a new transmissions? Hopers gotta hope.

(I remember that back then when I was listening to this as it went live, people found the track on youtube and were saying "oh god I hope they dont play the full 10 minutes of this")

It seems they tend to browse bandcamp to find more music, but yeah this track reminded me of P.C. from AFOT, we now also know that Niagara from Boc Maxima was also sampled from the same porn film from where P.C. came from, so they might have a thing for this kind of stuff

Is that an official account of theirs? If so, that would be so awesome if they were testing things out with a private video. Perhaps Jan 22nd won't be a release, but rather some kind of new clue, much like the Pioneer's Plaque was in September.

Yes—it was used to confirm the record store day promo, and it has soundboard recording of J&C with live visuals. More context on the Atalanta Fugiens saga from bocpages: On the 22nd April, the AtalantaFugiens YouTube account again updated the annotations for the "Julie And Candy" live video to briefly flash for 0.1 seconds "ONE GOT FAT" at time 4:20 (Video 1), in reference to the source video for an Everything You Do Is A Balloon fan video (Video 2). Also at this point the Boards of Canada YouTube account updated its top favourite video to "Everything You Do Is A Balloon" fan video. On that fan video, a comment from a YouTube account hellinterface links to the nuevas semillas private video (Video 3) shown below with interesting graphics from little house on the prairie. That private video contains a link to the fourth video (Video 4) shown below in which the new message is played (with digits 717228) and the message position is flashed on screen.
