Anyone have any kind of dreams relating to Boards of Canada?

Mine is:

I was in this gym of some sort and their were boxes of unreleased BoC stuff on CD. I picked on up and it said:

Julie and Candy
Music is Math

Looked like a promo of some kind.

if you ever become lucid in a dream i suggest telling the dream to "play (insert boc/any song here)"....then once the song starts playing [immediately] in the dream say "increase volume times 100"...and then say "play (insert said track) in a better way that ive never heard"....you will get a brand new song remixed by your very own psychedelic dj...........................................

Seriously, I love lucid dreams, but I am not so great at controlling them yet.

lucid dreams took over my life for a while, i think itd worth getting back into them just to try n hear some boc!! the weirdest ones ive ever had are when theres music playing, but its just made up if you know what i mean... ive woke up the next morning humming these tunes thinking 'what the fuck is that tune??' and its just something ive made up.. not happened for ages though sadly. im gonna try and have a boc dream tonight though..

haha i have never thought of including boc in dreams, im a pretty regular lucid dreamer but more often than not steer the dream in direction of flying and swimming underwater and such, or perhaps meeting up with people i dont see anymore or who are dead

ive never tried for music, will have to give this a go when im not so stressed

i had a dream where i found some rare BoC albums too...stuff i had never even heard of before....i also had a dream where i jammed with them...we had a bunch of sequencers and analog gear...it was awesome...

You know, Paul McCartney came up with the tune for Yesterday in a dream. He thought it was something he heard his father play when he was a boy, but it was apparently all original.

I know what you mean about the music related lucid dreams. They're freaking out of control bizarre! Like being on drugs, but not! I have a hard time remembering them when I wake up, but I would love to be able to remember of few of the tunes I dream about so I can turn them into a song.

Essentially, it's dreaming in a state where you're not all the way asleep, yet not awake either. Like, dreaming but being aware of it at the same time. You have the ability to control these dreams with practice. I don't have them as often as I use to so I am not that good at controlling them. However, I have found out that the best time to have them, and I swear this works EVERY TIME for me. Just wake up normally in the morning. Wait about an hour. Go watch tv, eat some breakfast or something. Then, go back to sleep! Now, your mind is not as exhausted at it was when you went to bed the previous night, so you have more control over your mind.

When I was a kid, I use to have these dreams that I would refer to as "buzzy dreams", due to the loud and insanely scary rumbling sound throughout them. They seemed no different from other dreams, aside from the obvious buzzing noise. This buzzing sounds almost the same as that rumbling you get in your ears when yawning... only FAR more menacing and evil!

As time went on, the buzzing turned into a tickling sensation in my side! A very real tickling sensation that would often wake me up, and I could still feel it afterward! I've found that hearing sound strictly through my right ear, at times, causes this exact same sensation. Must be some sort of nerve related issue.

Has anybody else ever had experiences like that?

Apparently the sounds created from Aphex Twins Saw II came to him in his dreams. Also either Mike or Marcus (can't remember which) dreamt the sounds for Gyroscope. He said in an interview something like "it still terrifys him to listen to it."

i think that was the synth sound at the start of 'sunshine recorder' i could be wrong though.
one of them said they dreamt of it, and supposedly when they arranged it, it was so similar to their dream that it freaks them to listen to it now.

Once I had a dream that I was in an upstairs room, and the only exit was blocked by a giant moth about 2 foot long, on the wall, and there was a giant grasshopper next to it, making it's grasshopper sound. For the rest of the dream I kept hearing this slow, simple synth-sounding song. In the end I jumped over the banister of the staircase and escaped. Then I woke up. As soon as I woke up, I sequenced the tune. It's a pity the tune is rubbish though, heheh.

woah, that's pretty fucked up. one thing strange about my dreams is that i never hear music, there's speech there but no music at all. it's weird. i'd love to try and emulate a sound i heard in my dreams but alas, there is none.

I have had a "buzzy" feeling in certain dreams as well. These generally come along with sleep paraylsis for me. I'll wake up and be unable to move, and if I think about the dream (which is usually a scary or weird one), I get this intense buzzing sensation throughout my body. It's bizarre.

Yes, i remember that. Gyroscope is haunting too..

sleep paralysis, is that what you get when you are napping and can't move or talk or anything, yet you know you are awake? i only get this when i sleep in ONE SPECIFIC place and it's really cool/weird... never knew what it was though

and i would love to learn how to lucid dream, any tips?
