This sample has been annoying the crap out of me for ages. I really want to know where it's from.

Bless the Lord, oh my soul, I (know) you'll be guiding me,
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, I know you are so great,
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, I know you'll be guiding me,
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, I know you are so great.

Bless the Lord, oh my soul, how loved you must have been
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, ... will be guiding him/me/here

If you scroll to the mid/bottom in this thread (from 2005 :D), there are some more theories

I agree whit Chzi. I think its some kind of "song of praise" from the free church more then a traditional psalm.

i posted in that earlier thread that i think it is something like:

There's love in my soul
i will be back again
there's love in my soul
how loved you must have been

i'm fairly certain that the first line is "there's love in my soul" at any rate, i agree with Hexagon Son i think it is some kind of christian pop track which means unless anyone fancies trawling through hundreds of CD's of banal christian rock from the 80's and 90's i think they source of this sample will remain a mystery!

What a sweet find! I wonder if this was one of the songs that didn't make the cut from geogaddi...

I think its sounds like a japanese anime theme, i don't like the singing, but everything else is good.
