great artist out of the Tacoma area on SubPop. I don't know that BoC is a direct influence of theirs (though he's mentioned Oneohtrix Point Never before), but I think some of the tracks are very amenable to BoC fans' ears. a lot more percussion, more buzzy guitars, more meditative doom
