Just saw today,that Vangelis had passed away.What more can be said other than he was an amazing musician and composer.

Bladerunner is one of the greatest soundtracks ever. His use of the Yamaha CS80 was fantastic. :cry:

yea man this news made me so sad. huge loss for us. i had really enjoyed his recent work with the juno thing too. rest easy big man

Co-sign on the CS-80 props. Vangelis was to the CS-80 as Prince was to the Linn LM-1.

Although I am a fan of so many of his works, I find myself returning over and over to Opera Sauvage. There's something magical about the range he captured on that one. RIP Vangelis.
