The album feels somewhat menacing to me. Burnt Orange is a highlight for sure.

Good question.
The music stations I stick to are Beeb Radio 6Music and Radio 3 sometimes. There's some eclecticism on 6Music. It's a station of indie, punk, and leftward non mainstream. I'd say really anything goes on there. New chamber compositions and minimalism on 3 respectively. But the only difference between the BBC's core Radio lineup (inc. 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5) is that 6Music is digital.

Of course, also you have your Radio 2 for light playing of Steps and Oasis, and charters of all the decades if that's your thing, but I don't tend to listen often.
Then there's also all the stations branded by Global™️ on digital, it's a very broad list all maligned by commercials.
It's a crap shoot whatcha gonna get.

I have noticed you like a lot of late 60s and 70s music! :) Have you ever listened to "Johnny Walker's Sounds of the 70s"? (it should be on BBC Sounds.)

Not yet I will check it out. Here in midwest USA I hear trap rap blasting mostly from cars and slide guitar from bars.

Either that or real corny-country.

For awhile I drove a delivery truck though corn country regularly -- it was very interesting how sharply the radio transmissions cut to a different media type on FM

The NTS old school oceania indie mix that's live on channel 2 right now. Very good early morning class.
