it's an epic AE mix!

Hey, me too! I like it but it seems like it's mixed a lttle fast for my tastes. Just when a track I really like comes on, it's over already.

That's true, it's more enjoyable when you already know the tracks.. but you aren't into mixes all that much.. right?

Oh, I already know all the tracks, I just wish he would give them a little more time to evolve. We all know most of AE's tracks are over 5 minutes, so sometimes it takes time for the melody to kick in. I wasn't into mixes before, but I found a few that I really like. Been listening to mixes a lot lately.

Wow, one of my favourite shoegazing albums, unbelievable it's already 16 years old. 8)

That is amazing. I just started getting into shoegazing really hardcore this last month. I discovered Slowdive, Catherine Wheel, Ride, older Verve. Fucking awesome stuff!

What's even more amazing is this month, 15 years ago, Nirvana's Nevermind changed the world as we know it. Yeah, it's not Shoegazing, but still. 15 years!?!? Jesus christ!

Slowdive - Brighter (My favorite shoegazing song right now! So fucking gorgeous!)

What can i say, you have damn good taste! 8)

If you know the tracks than you can listen to them in full length whenever you want, right? This seem to be an endless discussion with DJs, the <i>"who give you the right to fuck up another persons song"?</i> kind of discussion. Imo it doesn't really matter how long a certain song is mixed, the recognition of the track is enough for me.
This is one of the reasons why I still haven't started a BoC mix.

If you like the more "slow mixed" mixes check out VLR his earlier work. They really are ace.
Classics and Custom Build are more of your liking I guess.
