yes, can I find a leak somewhere? I want to give it a listen first before I'll buy it.
I'm a big fan of the old stuff from Richard and don't like Drukqs that much. So I'm curious in which direction he's going with the new album.

I love that Manchester track btw!

I am expecting what we usually get from RDJ. A mishmash of misshapen genius, off-kilter humour, bloody bindboggling beats and a couple of duds here and there resulting from his 'couldn't give a shit' trollish attitude.

So basically I am looking forward to it. You bastard.

Because in the magical land of P4K, anything below 8.5 sucks.

I must also add that it is the score of druqks that they still have never changed that prompted me to make that.

Other 'fantastic' album reviews by Pitchfork include:

*MHTRTC - where they (respectfully, with all greatness of that record acknowledged) kiss BoC's ass
*Geogaddi (in contrast to the MHTRTC review - you're fucking joking, right guys?)
*The Bends (Really?)
*OK Computer (REALLY?)

Any of Brent's reviews:

*Kid A - where they kiss (again, the album is good) Radiohead's ass so hard they left a mark
*The Fragile - a review of a hit and miss album that musically is ultimately worth listening to, with the review having nothing at all to do with the album and the score being extremely low
*Lateralus - ditto as the last thing

Non-Brent hilarity:

*Zaireeka (gone now)
*The Soft Bulletin (hilarious given the context of the previous album)
*My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (where I rape and steal songs including one from an album with a 5.5 and not a 10 and contains music that, you know, the artist actually made)
*Untilted (...)
*any review by Chris Ott, who while working at P4K made it his career to be Brent.

In fact, just to illustrate how much of a pretentious prick (not as much as Brent, but hey, it takes a lot to suck dick that hard) Chris was, here is the beginning of his review for Radiohead's "Com Lag" EP, of which he did complain about a legitimate pressing issue but not without being a dick first:

You've just spent anywhere from $15-$30 U.S. on Com Lag. You cradled it all the way home, flipping the exquisitely designed cream-and-ink digipak end on end until you were completely certain it was real. You held it up to your nose as you slit the shrinkwrap, breathing deep the vacuum-sealed polystyrene fumes, as close to the band as you'll ever get. Awed by ambitious packaging to rival The Soul Cages, you tenderly loosed the liner booklet from its pocket, fumbling with the pages as if sudden movement would reduce them to carbon.
Gingerly, you rocked the disc back and forth to wrest it from its clear tray, trembling, breathless, in the event that, for the first time in recorded history, the CD's plastic center would pop out on your index finger, the most unholy wedding band imaginable. After dust-blasting your player with compressed air, you slowly (continues on)

If you can make it past the first couple sentences without involuntarily twitching out of "what the fuck?", you should see a doctor.

Anyone entering into the LE ballot? I feel £250 is very steep but I guess for a release from such a huge artist after 13 years does necessitate filtering out those not willing to put down the money. £150 I'd probably do but it's just too much as is for me.

Good luck to you. I may enter yet as my birthday is only a week away.

I don't read music reviews. Sometimes I will love an album, and then I will read a negative review and it will ruin the entire album for me.
I just listen to the album myself and decide whether I like it. I don't need someone to decide for me.

As far as i'm concerned, aphex twin is a genius and every media company should bow down to him cause he is the king of everything
