Exciting news for anyone who's a fan of Amon Tobin (and have stuck around with the many different styles he's had in his music over the years). I only became a fan last year so I guess I'm pretty lucky I didn't have to wait so long.
Anyway Amon Tobin recently announced an upcoming project on twitter, first with a silly meme, then an image of his new label (Nomark), which I honestly thought was the name of the album until the single "On a Hilltop Sat The Moon" dropped out yesterday, as well as the name of his upcoming album. It's gonna be released April 26th!

Anyone excited or heard the single? I enjoyed it. Very soothing ambient piece, and I love the 2 minute mark a lot where it gives me psychedelic Bricolage vibes. Interested to see if the whole album is gonna be in that same direction or if there's gonna be some other genres in here. Amon's always been interesting with his style of music over the years. Sadly ISAM didn't click with me much besides the fantastic track "Kitty Cat". Perhaps I should give it another spin. I tend to be critical with Amon's music, even during albums like Supermodified.
