Incredible drummer and influence on modern music. Also a total fruitcake.

Ah, man. That sucks. He had the quintessential badass 70's drum sound. Right up there with Bonham. Drummers are nuts... I should know.

The last band I drummed for used to cover White Room. Such fun to play that song. Probably my second favourite drummer of that era after Mitch Mitchell of the Hendrix Experience.

My favorite were always his performances with Blind Faith, which was 2/3rds of Cream, but this particular lineup just worked and bought out the best qualities in all of the musicians involved, such a shame it was short lived.

It should be included in the link, but skip to the three minute mark for my favorite Baker drum break if not. The studio version of this track is something to behold as well as each of the instruments gets an elongated solo.

Yeah they show footage from that Blind Faith gig in the documentary.
