They're one of my favorite bands! I'm psyched for the new record.

New GY!BE is something I will definitely welcome.
Recently I learned that Steve Beckett really wanted to sign them to Warp years ago, but couldn't make it happen.

Randy Holden -- Population II (1970)
This one was hard to find until recently. If you like proto-metal/doom like Blue Cheer, this is for you.

"Convenient parking, is way back, way back, way back..."
"Soon the chain reaction started in the parking lot
Waiting to bleed onto the big streets
That bleed out onto the highways
And off to others cities built to store and sell these rocks
Well, aren't you feeling real dirty sitting in the parking lot?"

One of my favorite albums, though I think The Moon & Antarctica edges it out by a little bit.
Those lyrics about city life resonate with me, I'm glad I moved to a beautiful place out in the country.

One of the most beautiful songs ever written. Everything about it is perfect.

Not sure if this would be up anybody's alley here, but I do love this album. It's alt-metal type stuff, I guess.

Here's a meandering 42 minute cover by some members of LA-based Acetone. Default Sunday morning jam.

Ah, that's beautiful, thank you! I love Acetone but had no idea this existed.

Thank you for the comment and the interesting addition man, glad you like it too... definitely cheers me up, the chord progression is fantastic (maybe a bit BOC's TCH?), this is something I'd like to find on the next Societas X tape or something...
Spread the good vibes!
