Panda Bear - Person Pitch

Really one of the most refreshing albums I've heard this year.

I believe TO's pics are from the Animal Collective show he recently attended.

^^Thanks for clearing that up wwbjd. Yeah Panda bear is a member of animal collective. That is from the show when I saw them in Marfa. He has some solo cds out that are amazing IMO. Person pitch is his new one which is probably one of favs this year so far.
any wayz sorry for the lack of info. I got a chance to meet him after the show....very nice guy...very humble...

So now that I've heard the record a few times I'm curious: how did Panda Bear translate live?

They use so much reverb on their tracks that I've been trying to imagine how they would sound in a more organic environment.... I feel like I'm listening to that record in a canyon or something.

Expound... :D

Live it sounds really good. The reverb is toned down a bit. At least when I saw Animal Collective. There is a Panda Bear Live DVD coming out real soon, so I cant wait to see what his solo stuff is like live. I have only seen crappy videos online...

I dont think anyone said he was the second coming or anything, but as far as albums that I have heard so far this year...his is among my top favorite no doubt. That just my opinion. I chanced to meet him at the Animal Collective show and talk with him for a bit, so I posted a pic...thats all
