Sigur Ros - Svefn-G-Englar comes to mind as being the most heart warming thing I know. But part of that is because of emotional situations and growth i've felt surrounding that piece of music. It has been the soundtrack to some of the happiest moments of my life.

Funny, I always thought that track sounded cold and "windy" in a way much like Over the Horizon Radar...

I can tell ya about the warmest ever record label. Columbia Records. Some of the many (x100) artists on their roster release real fireside sounds. :D

- Leonard Cohen - Old Ideas (Very intimate gravely album, like most of his discography.)

- Daft Punk - Random Access Memories (what can I say? Slathered in bass. A warm summer through and through.)

- Miles Davis - Sketches of Spain/Miles Ahead/A Kind of Blue (The king. Ruffle your collar, someone turned the thermometer right up! )

a beautiful early fall day in the city, not an oppressive heat but enough to keep you lifted. may require a jacket towards the end of the day. everyone is moving so quickly, going nowhere...
