Hey! Has anyone here heard Robert A.A. Lowe? AKA Lichens? I first saw this guy open up for Explosions in the Sky last year.
I just bought his new album, Fazo IV: La Kvalito de Speguloj and its totally blowing my mind with it's spacey, dreamy awesomeness.
It's 100% pure, thick, analog warmth. It reminds me of a less freaked out version of Matmos' latest album. For the most part its very epic and slowly building. But quite minimal and mellow as well. It reminds me of Tron and geometry and space. I know a lot of you guys on here would really dig this. The music is lush.
I should also mention that it comes on a thick 150 gram LP. The package is hand assembled. The whole thing looks and sounds incredible.
Get baked and put this on. You wont regret it!
