Have you ever found anything cool by taking a chance on a random record you found in a thrift shop, or the $1 bin at your local record store? Like literally something you've never heard of? Share it here!

I just picked up "Past Light" by William Ackerman because I thought the artwork was cool and there was a lot of information about the production of the record on the sleeve, which is pretty cool for a music geek such as myself. The first track had a cool boardsesque synth-y sound on it reminiscent of "The Smallest Weird Number," and I thought you guys might enjoy it.

Some of the best tunes are found this way. That was terrific.

I remember discovering these guys a few years back. Petty they only released one album on cd. Still love it though!

I started a whole thread for sharing these finds, it could use a little love!

Kickass song too.

And so here I am! Hello, group!

The Jung Collective album I bought was called "Analog Camp" - I can't find anything regarding its release beyond little snippets of small album art and a couple of the songs on YouTube, including the one above. "Flamingo Down" is the highlight, for sure!
