Here are a couple more cover ideas - I'm not trying to overload this thread, just throwing some options out on the table since there was only one idea submitted and the deadline is coming fast.

My intention was to present a few options that might send others in new directions, or perhaps even help to reveal that the first playground idea was the best.

Oh yeah... if anyone would like to try out different fonts and such for any of these images just let me know and I'll send you the basic image without anything added.

Yes indeed! Metal playground equipment has become part of vanishing Americana. The playground rocket gave me a very BOC feeling. That's why I chose it.
I do a website called Photos Of The Forgotten that features alot of stuff like this. The focus is mostly on Googie and mid-century modern architecture and Anaheim, the town I grew up in. There is a feature on metal playground equipment that you might like. Check it out at

I wanted to embed the pic in my post, but could not get it to show up, so I just put a link. I just banged this out while I was at work this evening and did not do a back or much text work, but can flesh it out further if people like it.

I'm working on one. :]

The tree one is particularly killer. Would go well with a collection of darker tracks. I'm gussing album art judgement shall be based on final vibe of the music?

Made a few front covers, no time right now to do the rest. If people seem to like one of these maybe I'll try to get a chance to do a complete package.

Yes sir, I like it. Even if it doesn't end up being used. Remind me of it in the future.

sup guys. I didn't even know there was a second version until last night! I whipped up one to stay in the theme of the last one, with some TCH color scheming. But I'm also in the process of something different. Anyways:

Edit: Beacons rock

Although I like Beacons #2 as well. Can't decide. Wanna say #2 from the top of his post is the best.

Agreed! This one is my favorite of Beacon's

Is this a scientific outpost in Antarctica?

I also like Aesthetics:

Wouldn't mind seeing it with another color around the outside edge instead of white.

It's a radar station from the fifties on a remote island in canada.

I didn't take the photos, still working on getting permission to use them, shouldn't be a problem though.

Aesthetic's is cool.

Font choice

Ah...Aerial Rounded Bold MT. I used that font on my 3rd album, Grafted.

Sunday's the deadline right? I think i can give it a shot then. :)

about the others; First page, nothing special (sorry, just my opinion) beside ArtOfTheGroove 2nd one, that's pretty cool.
On page 2,
Beacon's first two, awesome! Third one ok.
Soupbandit, just a lil too TCH and that font looks bad, and is placed kinda weird.
Aesthetics, pretty cool.

BoC themselves used it on Geogaddi actually. :)

I thought my cover would be too cliche.. I'll make a few variations tomorrow.
