Why am I to look at a certified cocksucker to be reassured this community's compilation continue as if that weren't inevitable?

Have I been out of a loop as strenuously exhausting as it is overdue that this couldn't be just a post?

No. Though I do consider reminders that clown has any place in government to be a big deal by proxy.

In all seriousness, as I've felt terrible lately, it was very surreal to come over to Twoism (a place that I used to know as escapism) and the first thing I see is that. In that I actually wasn't sure what context to view it in considering the bit edited in is being held by a cartoon character. At least the scribbled "One on Twoism 7" is grounded in reality more so than the rest of the image. So to speak obviously.

Yeah, memeiness aside he's a kinda unfortunate thing to see when we come to the sanctified space of The 'ism.
Whether positive, negative or neutral, as is the case here, anything that furthers the ubiquity of his 'brand' is not something I am keen to see at this point, especially whilst actually existing in this waking nightmare of a country (living in a leftist bubble aside) :p

"his"

Now reached another plateau of "ways in which not to justify or acknowledge existence" re: less than dogshit. Can't concur enough though am loath to even use "it" to reference something growimg increasingly unbelievable, stupid, each day. I won't get into politic and how I feel about (mostly congress) allowing this farce here. Back to thread topic.

Lighten up will ya.... i thought it was hilarious because I can’t take that man seriously, never have, never will, but it was just a funny little bumper banner, nothing more and the look on his face when he opens the twoism folder is priceless haha
Although I understand your point though.... in reality, it is a nightmare that we are in with this country
I am just pumped for this new comp!!!!

it's been a long while since i was last online here. i have a lot of catching up to do with music in general, a lot of new albums from my favorite artists that i haven't listened to... gosh. in a way im glad volume seven hasn't happened yet because i didn't want to miss a chance to be involved. But i've also gotten a little rusty with music making. I feel spiritually drained most the time, from personal things in life for the most part. inspiration is fleeting and momentary. Ive switched over to a laptop, so it's a little easier to tap into those moments when they come, instead of waiting to get back to a desk. but i'm still not there all the way. sometimes i will listen through things i made five years ago, before my soul was tired, when i was a thirteen year old kid who was having fun. Despite sound quality, i downgraded from whatever spark I used to have. unhindered creativity, motivation, and productivity. I didn't let what people would say get under my skin back then.

I don't want to sit this one out, but if I do, it's going to be because I'm still in a rut. :)

Sometimes, you just need to start. I know that sounds simplistic, but I do find it works - even on the worst days.
Start... and keep starting until you're ready ;-) Good luck.

I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the proper thread, but I guess I will do it here...

I kind of bristled at the underlying concept behind this comp when I first heard about it, because the general concept has been completely inescapable for the past couple of years within the context of social media/media, etc. After being pummeled with it constantly, why would I want that poison to invade my entertainment too?

It has been a long time since I have thought about music as fuel for anger and rebellion. I grew up in my teens in the mid 90s listening to all sorts of goth/punk/industrial/shoegaze and wearing all black everything. When MHTRTC was released, it really was the right thing at the right time for me, a sea change for sure, because it came at a time when I was easing out of my teens and into my 20s and adulthood, a time where dealing with every day reality became inevitable, and turning to music became a necessary outlet for escape rather than a means to rebel against something that was now known to be undefeatable.

I'll also admit that this is an oddly appropriate jumping off point from what Tomorrow's Harvest represented a few years ago. In retrospect, that album was like going to some kind of prognosticator that tells you that you're going to die of cancer in the next 5-10 years, but all your vitals seem fine at the time, so you sort of laugh it off and go about your business.

Now we know that it's not all fine, so what do we do? I guess we rebel, and maybe it's okay to go full circle and try to weaponize this little corner of the music world for the greater good.

from my point of view, the world at the time of TH's release was in a very similar state to how it is now—and was that way a good many years before its release, too. i think trump's more a symptom of the crap than its cause

ya i think the theme is a very good choice :]

Well I am not in the Discord channel anymore, so if people are talking about the Twoism 7 ARG there I haven't seen it. It seems Cupz and The Cosmic Manta are posting clues. I transcribed a bit of Cupz's 1337speak below until I got bored:

I have a story to tell
Once there was a man
Who had
A large daddio
The daddio was
Called toothpaste
One day the man was
Shitting in the woods with toothpaste
He stumbled on a breadstixor
Toothpaste openened the bread
And the boy followed him inside

I'm guessing breadstixor is a mistake, but I don't know what else it could be. Also, I have no idea what Cosmic Manta's messages mean. I converted the long number from base10 to base64 to ASCII as well as from base10 to ASCII but it still made no sense to me. Is anyone else following this?

Really looking forward to hearing vol 7. I would have died to have a track included too. I do a lot of BoCish type of material. Heavily influenced by the MHTRTC TCH albums and I play the guitar as well. This place should do a tribute to the Old tunes stuff and do covers. Could that happen in this dark as the harvest place on the web?

Really hope we hear something soon... I hope this helps fill some of the gap in a new BOC release.
