Ae, the set progression is just perfect, sounds like you've put a lot of thought into the way the tracks are arranged and layered.

Giving it another listen! SecondaryCell's track is probably one of my all time favorites. Robotanalysis, Boreal Network, Lithium Enchantment, and the Sinkfield tracks are also amazing! Also, Polar Sky's tracks totally remind me of both the 80's in general, and the early 90's mod scene, which I totally love! Such pure melodies!

Seriously killer compilation!

I've had the last two tracks on repeat for about 72 hours now.

Slumberfuck (?) thoroughly captured the spirit of Old Tunes (who is 199Free?) while the Kashmir Boots track is one of the best things I've heard in a long time. There is a ton of emotion deep within that song.. at least for me.

Kudos to Five Step Path as well.

Overall I'm enjoying it much more than OoT1.

Thanks hex! Yeah.. the compiling was most difficult of all. This time it also was very hard to choose which songs got to the compilation and which not.

OoTv2 artists: I've got mastered flac's of all the songs that made it to the comp. Contact me and we'll figure out how to get it to you.

I'm wondering if we should have a OoT2 sighting thread. Here's #1, from an mp3 blog...

So far I've listened up to track 13. The tracks that REALLY stuck out at me were Act of Creation, Gone But Not Forgotten, Another Bad Dream and 82 technological toys.

MAJOR kudos to everyone though, each track fits together like a jigsaw puzzle. I'll be sure to speak my thoughts about the next 13. :)

I tried to listen it last night, but i only heard a couple of songs and then fell asleep. A bit too much of the beer/weed i guess. :P What i heard sounds good tho. ^^

i was at first annoyed at the seamless flow because i had to keep looking to see when a track started and ended, but having heard the disc all the way through i find it strange how the tracks just worked with each other as one giant thing...nice work aesthetics..
nice job to all, this is a very transient release here..
