WOW THE NEW FORUM IS SO PRETTY

so different from the old one. I never like changes to forums, but I have a feeling that I will like this new layout.
Although, it does seem like every post is a "quote" in the little bubble, but that really doesn't matter at all :D

THANKS ANGEL!!!

Yeah, I felt the same way. Didn't know if I should have posted about it. It "doesn't look right" to myself personally but it isn't a bug report.

The board is minimal in design, in a way that's otherwise fine, but the removal of those boxes and normal placement of text would help a lot. Just my thought on it.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

Let it sink for a while. This is how a quote looks like :)

Yes, I've seen the quotes. The smaller text makes it clear. Not anything I wanted to post in here but Nick did so I figured I'd second the feeling. He's right to say that it doesn't really matter, it's just a bit jarring.

It's not a bug, but it might be worth reminding folks of, if I'm right, the search box only works for the topic or forum that you're currently in, rather than the whole board?

Nope - you can select more than one forum when searching.
The whole search function is 100% better than before in my view. Way more functionality.
Again, have a play around :D

search engine does not work for the terms "boc", "mdg" or "ibm". Maybe lower the minimum character requierment?

Ah, for some reason I missed the word 'search' at the top of the page! I was talking about the quick search box. Agreed that the search function is a lot better.

Not sure if this has been discussed, but sometimes when I "submit" a quick reply I get taken to the full reply formatting box instead of it being posted. I have to go back to the previous screen and try again to get it to work..

Is this a bug, or am I being really stupid haha.

also not exactly a bug, but more of a UI note... the "LOGOUT [USERNAME]" with the single user icon on the upper right looks as much like it should be giving me access to my profile page as to log me out. I'd suggest losing both the username and icon there and just having "logout".

and btw, congrats and thanks on the lovely relaunch!
preparation for a dive.

Is it possible you are clicking the 'post a reply' button instead of the 'submit' button. They are very close to eachother with similar meanings, and I've made that mistake a couple of times now.

Just so you're aware (and you might be), I stumbled upon a post by thedisavowed and his title is still "moderator". I assume this would apply to The Other too, when and if you could find him.

Might want to sort that out since thedisavowed still comes around here and 'new seeds' may not know what happened.

So I clicked the "view your posts" link at the top, and it took me to a bunch of threads I had READ, but I couldn't find any posts from me in a lot of them. Honestly I cant even remember if I actually posted or not, because sometimes Ill write something out and not actually post it. Not a big deal to me though, just another thing I noticed.

Now that im getting accustomed to the new forum I like it more and more!
