Just would like to know because you all are my friends. :) I'm doing pretty good myself. The trees are already blooming over here in Indiana. My neighbor has a few cherry blossoms. b-e-a-u-tifull! I love spring.

Just started a new job last week. Right when my employment benefits ran out. It was perfect! Working after a sweet 6 month vacation. My life is going great!

The sun is just starting to shine in Edinburgh at this time of year, and I don't have too much to do today except a little homework for college so I really can't complain! Also, my brother is moving home soon and my mum had a nice birthday yesterday, so it's all go :) Thanks for asking

Alright actually. Still working up towards June 11th and the anticipated arrival of our first born (a girl - to be called Lottie).

Had a bit of a scare last week when the Mrs had to have a night in hospital. Scary stomach cramps and vomiting, etc. Turned out it was just a nasty bug and our baby is fine, thankfully. Working v.hard in anticipation of being the only bread-winner for a year, which is scary like you wouldn't believe - but also feels kind of good in a male-ego kinda way.

My knee, which I injured badly last Summer (cruciate ligament) is mending well after the operation. Back in the gym now. Spring is definitely here too, with warmer days, longer walks and time to get planting veg etc in the greenhouse.

Oh and Newcastle United are doing well, so I'm happy as a sandboy.

Simple things I guess?

EDIT: how are YOU doing fella, seeing as nobody else has asked?!?

I've been super busy with schoolwork and work, hence the absence D: I've had no life for the past couple months. Cannot wait for the summer, it's gonna be all photography and sleeping in. Mmmm.

I've been doing pretty dandy (other than high school of course, but you can't do anything about that) I'm having a bit of a musicians block and I haven't made much in a while, but I'll be okay in a week probably. I've been discovering a lot of awesome music lately. Mostly some indie stuff like Memory Tapes, Beach House, Still Corners, and such Thanks for asking

I'm doing all right I suppose. It was 26 degrees celcius here in Ontario, Canada yesterday. Loving the nice weather.

All the blossoms are late here in Japan due to the abnormally cold weather that we have been having. I'm about to complete a cycle of the most dull 12 months of my life and I am due to repeat it again unless I make some serious life choices. You would be surprised at how ugly a lot of Japan is. My town is half derelict with all the local businesses that have gone under. The sex and booze trade seem to be doing OK though. I think I may be able to manage one more year in this boring hole of a town. After that, I'm either going unemployed to live with my family, or I will head east into the danger zone for more excitement.

Or... I may just leave it all behind to start again, somewhere new.

Good of you to ask!

Things are alright at the moment, the ship is steady.

Busy gradually sifting through old bits and bobs -- the computer has been a vital way of saving stuff, although I've yet to get a scanner for prints; that will have to come later. It's been a little while since technology went wrong on me, thank god. Anything that just delays me is not a problem if it can be replaced, but an error that may have caused permanent data loss / suddenly not recognising a drive - that's when I have something of a heart attack! I have a lot of bulky data across drives.

My concerns lately have been pretty much for family, and increasingly so - it's complex. My Mum has needed some support and understanding, while also being quite understanding of others - she is quite sensitive at times: I bought her something only little recently for Mother's Day that she had wanted, and it meant so much to her that she cried - it was very moving.

However, my Dad is very much the opposite: never shown affection or sympathy for as long as I've known, never seen him cry, and he can be irritating and aggressive, usually at the same time. If he does upset someone, it's a real battle trying to make him say 'sorry' - but it's always just been that way.

I guess that is the root of the decade-old problem between the two of them. It's now starting to come to a point where something is going to have to change soon. And when it does, I just hope there's not too much grief.

So things could be better, but they could also be a lot worse. I feel I have a good quality of life in general. For the moment at least, I am just about content with my relatively quiet life, the love of a family member and a few good friends :)

I suspect I've wasted my words here - doubt if anyone really gives a shite, but then I don't blame you!
