What's up?
I mean, I know owls are cool and all, but why?

my first guess was that it was one or two people acting independently at first and then a few others decided to owl-out too just to start something neat and cryptic and shake things up. i was going to do it myself, in fact, but i didn't want to find out too late that it represented some shitty movie or book series that's coming out. so i guess i'll just confess ignorance and wait stupidly to hear what's going on.
