Wow, love that! The shading and tones are spot on.

That's really nice. Love the shading.

Worked on this months ago as a cover for a fictional album sleeve, just thought it would be fun to share. At least my name came out okay.

That’s some good stuff! Props on the font, and the image is a bit of an amalgamation of one of your avatars.
Here’s some surreal/psychedelic sketches I’ve been doing recently, problem is I’m gonna have to link them as I still can’t figure out how to embed images in posts! (If anybody can help, because I’m fed up of using imgbb)

This ones non complete but in colour

Black and white

Final one is a bit of over saturated fuzzy photography

Thanks :) It came from another picture I worked on, but after taking a picture of my desktop with my phone and zooming in on the screen. I was hesitant on posting the original but then I thought "well, it's less erotic than Windowlicker, I suppose"

Those look great :D , I love works with a lot of chaotic line-work or emphasis on color. As for embedding, I usually use Postimage to host than copy the direct link (should have something like .png or .jpg at the end) into the post, then use the IMG tool from there.

I tried out imgbb, to share the picture use the full BBCcode link and just copy/paste the image URL starting and ending with the img code, the rest of it appears superfluous.

A practice portrait of екатерина губенко (Катя Чехова)/Yekaterina Gubenko (Katya Chehova). I use a mouse to make these, so that's why they look pretty rough.

Unearthed some old sketches I made a couple years ago. During work-breaks I would just work on these while listening to Sewerslvt, can't even fathom finding that kind of energy these days.

Since I managed to actually get something done this weekend, may as well celebrate. Two more fictional album covers:

These are really great, Orbited! How do achieve that kind of look, if I may ask? I'm pretty unfamiliar with how photography works.

Aye, highly appreciated rodox! :D

The first one (podium speech) is the reflection of a TV in a dvd case, Boris Johnson (UK PM) was on television at that moment and was perfectly aligned with the case spindle. Which looked rather podium like, I took it with my mobile but edited it via USB on my library’s computer.

Second one (radiation poisoning) is light bouncing off a window onto a wall. The shadow made me think of a 'toxic: do not enter' notice (hence the name)

Finally the third one (bloomed magick) is a close up and heavily edited pic of a clay envelope i failed at making few years ago.
Tried to make it as trippy as possible.
here’s the original image for that one.

Image

With the editing, I tried lots of different hues and image sharpening tools on photoshop and what’s available on my mobile. I love vibrant Colors and over saturated images.

Thanks again, glad you enjoyed them. IDK I might upload more in the future.

I had to take a second look to realize the second one was actually light hitting a wall, really nice composition :D . I like to take snapshots of the streets but it can be difficult to wait for the right time when no cars/people are in the shot, as well as not looking like a creep standing out in the open taking pictures.

Made a couple more "album arts" with some old pictures I worked on upscaled, so they still look pretty rough.

Your album artwork ideas are superb, I admire your distinctive style with these. :) If I saw them on some CD’s, I’d definitely be buying them.
The two that you’ve posted above remind me a bit of Tim curry in rocky horror picture show or one of the cabaret film characters, there’s a sense of theatricality in them that I’m drawn to.
(Although that might just be me)

Thanks :D No Idea what kind of genre they would be though.

Funny you should mention that, when I showed the one with the redhead (for the record: it's title would be "Registration Required") to my sister she said it reminded her of drag performer Jinkx Monsoon. After I was done with "Life Style" I had the realization that it loosely, and totally coincidentally, resembled t.A.T.u's best of album cover. I guess you could make some kind of poetic interpretation there :|
