Dehydration and intermediate fasting are also helpful. It taps in our primal memory, when the most common state human were experiencing were hunger and cold. People in our days usually consume much more energy, than they needed. This is why weigh cutting is so common in professional sports, cause it can really elevate your results. Both, physically and mentally.

Thanks for the welcome dude, yes man essential to the feel-goods. Also recently I found running your hands under running water for twenty seconds, takes the edge off, we all know there are different kinds of anxiety so see if you find you're its just sitting there on your chest, run your tap, I find hot water especially is tremendous but no difference with cold, and yes, a quiet magick happens. it just dissapears.

Yes, very true Arvy, they both are a powerful combination, contrasting wins ultimately. See because of dehydration that's why I'm now so into hydration, or at least understand its importance in feeling good, I just drink water after coffee cups are consumed. But it really got me into the water during a manic period, I'm not manic but I think I'm on the hyperactive disorder spectrum and this period was just overload man, it was cos of dehydration but I didn't realise that until like the last resort I downed a pint of water so fast, and that was it, elevated my mood and I got water high but yeah fasting is so important and I learned that when I was well, hadn't eaten in a couple of days and I felt tremendous albeit still not well but I realised had fasted without realising it.

I never thought about how washing your hands could be used to calm down, but looking back, yes, it does kind of provide a reset. Looking back, yes, this does happen! The same with showers (not all the time for me, though).

That reminds me of how when you walk into a different room that you sometimes forget what you came in the room for because your brain does a little recalibration when you pass through the doorway into another room, which can cause that temporary absent-mindedness. (I don't know if this has ever been proven true, but I've heard it forever) .

Yes man, it's not always but a good sometimes this water remedy, it's funny that it might depend on the anxiety, which I spoke about signal flow - follow it and see what stems the anxiety, I think if it's outside anxiety, from someone else or the environment then the water works a treat if the anxiety is inner then it's more needed like after care, the breathing, the downing of a pint of water seems to elevate, sometimes just saying no the feelings I find especially work.s

I have no idea how to answer that dude, you speak as we all do, and I agree we all know nothing but talking about depression is a medication in itself, it's liberating in a way to unload as fonts what ales the body/mind when you say 'To experience the now without preconception or belief and to allow the unknown to occur and occur requires clarity, but where there is clarity there is no choice, and where there is choice there is misery' it's almost a trap in that kind of thinking, you're going for extreme ends of a spectrum, whereas I know fuck all brother, I use a john balance from coil lyric from the song going up. 'It just is'

So I define that lyric as a mantra - it just is - it's allowing all possibilities to be as there are and withing the possibilities are all the choices, regardless if they are poorly chosen or exceed upon any level, it doesn't matter. the fact that there is no fear in that node 'it just is' is a liberating belief, and you can watch the universe fold upon itself through this earth experience and just go right cool, that's how that happened, what comes next. in between transcending the feelings, whether they are good, bad, alright, shite, allow the signal flow to start and end before continuing to the next chapter.

I see the world as mostly nonsensical and up to anyone's interpretation, but thinking too much about things beyond one's control is just going to lead to involuntary self-destruction. I realize that because I am a mere blip in the void, my "wisdom" does not, and should not, carry any intrinsic meaning to anyone else. Really enjoying watching these funny "reject modernity, embrace strength" videos, this is by far my favourite, lol. Anyone tried nofap, heard this really can elevate your mental state. Personally some time ago was probably on a 90 days of it, was running half marathon at that time, was feeling very calm, almost meditating.

Human libido I find to be abstract and eldritch, and pornography to be more like psych horror reminiscent of the album/song of the same name by The Cure. A player that struts its hour upon the stage until it's heard no more.

Nofap is more like going vegan without even trying plain vegetarian first to me. Like it's really only going to be broken due to viewing it as black and white, rather than just not letting yourself believe it controls you.

I want to be optimistic.

Have you tried other alternative medical practices like massage therapy? And meditation? Especially the last one, if done "correct" it will definitely heal you. I hope you will find something suitable and that it will help you live with less heaviness.

I going to stop logging in to twoism every hour, it's decreasing my mental health distinctly. I'm becoming square-eyed and depressive.

I've even been put off from playing music on my mobile because it means having to look at a screen, technology has me hooked and is something I need to slowly distance myself away from.
This morning dawned a sudden realisation that it is not good for me.
