I have been playing Mario Sunshine lately, wow what a stunning 'example' of what Mario Bros should and could be. Minimal hand-holding, pure pure skill-based gameplay, straight brain games type of shit. It's been kicking my ass but I haven't had as much fun playing a game in a long damn time. Nintendo needs to chill on the gayass dogshit errand girl RPGs (no hate me love j/rpgs just tired of smoke and mirrors being 'the game').

SMS is one of my favorite games period. I love the vibe of the whole thing, and the different places you can visit throughout the game.

Also I agree, Nintendo hasn't been doing so much with its IPs and a lot of games are focused on being easy first and a game second.
