Currently obsessed with this movie. It's so good I bought the poster and I'm getting it framed. I've never owned a movie poster before.

Saw it on theaters, big win for open source and independent films. Would give it a 8.5.

Also Spirited Away is one of the best animated films I’ve ever seen, an easy 10 for me, I first watched it with my mom so it has a sentimental value to me, also it’s not overrated, please go watch it.
You’re always on a war with yourself, you’re just used to it.

Yeah, I thought Spirited Away was excellent, totally agree. I don't watch a ton of animated stuff, but I'll try anything that seems interesting.

I just happened to stumble on Flow streaming on Max a few days before the Oscars. I checked it out and it must have been one of those things where you see something at the right time and it really hits you in a good way. Soon after when I found out how it was made by a guy using Blender who spent five years painstakingly working on the animation as well as the score, it made me appreciate it even more.

I first saw this back around 2016, but eventually it escaped my memory. Somehow I happened to remember about it again recently, and after giving it another watch, found it to be even more compelling in retrospect.

An old buddy of mine from school wrote and directed this. I honestly have no idea if H.P. Lovecraft and Aleister Crowley are connected, but this pretty cool. Looking forward to Chapter II.
