and instead of writing out this wall of text, i'm gonna let this guy say it for me.

it's kinda like, FOR ONCE ON AN AMERICAN NEWS TELEVISION STATION, he actually steps out of the stigma of "democrat" "republican" "conservative" "liberal" "congress" "journalist"

and actually says what's going on.

Sensationalism. But such is the nature of political media.
One small step for man, one giant leap for Wagon Christ.

this guy makes some good points. but in the end money talks and as long as someone is getting paid to ignore the corruption, we're all screwed.

The freakouts will become increasingly prevalent as time goes on.

Here's some good politics for you...

All I can say is fuck politics. Fuck the puppet show. Dig deeper and you get the really juicy info on what these motherfuckers are up to.

My guess would be that once the economy completely collapses, these camps will be used as a means for work. You'll be sent in to do a 30 day assignment of odd jobs to help make this great empire even stronger.

In my opinion (which isn't completely informed, but at least a lot more informed than the average idiotic American dolt), the only candidate for the American presidency worth a damn is Ron Paul. I'm convinced if he won, many of the frightening things happening in my country would cease and America would start gaining some respect from the world.

I choose to stay neutral because all politics is is just one huge gray area. One thing I will say is that all of these politicians should think about how we live our daily lives and not how other "terrorist" countries will affect it. Who's the big bad terrorist organization now!?

no, that's the whole slop.
it's one big gray area because they make it that way. this way, they can keep their cush job with benefits that the american public doesn't get - franking privileges, a 6 figure salary that, once you become an incumbent (90% incumbency rate, fyi), you get to keep that 6 figure salary and it becomes a retirement fund VERY easily, all of the benefits of having lobbyists lying at your feet, congress being able to vote themselves a pay raise, a freaking COLA (you don't need a damn cola if you're at a six-figure salary), etc.

remember that pretty much no congressman/woman tries to get a bit of legislation passed for the good of the people. it is simply what their constituency wants, and what their constituency wants, you better believe they sure as hell get it, lest the incumbent not get re-elected next year.

everyone hates congress, but everyone loooooves their congressman (generalization, but you know for the most part that it's true).

but, good god, the fact that YOU. You, American sitting at your desk/couch with laptop/internet cafe. YOUR SENATE has passed a bill at a 93% passing rate that allows the military to detain you indefinitely WITHOUT CHARGE, a DIRECT violation of the constitution.

then there are the lobbyist-driven bills (SOPA, anyone?)

sorry, bit of a rant here, but damn.

I would like to think that Ron Paul would fix things, and I do support what he stands for (or at least what he appears to stand for), but the longer this charade goes on the more and more I am convinced the president is extremely far down the line when it comes to running things.

There's only one way that absolutely we could end this without any dogma attached to it, and nobody wants to/is in the shape to do so, which is to rise up as one entity vicariously and begin to run the country ourselves. Dethrone congress, dethrone the house, dethrone the president and every other channel of legislature in this country and begin anew.

The problem is that nobody wants to see that as a viable option because chaos will ensue for a period of time. Wake up, chaos is going to ensue, whether you like it or not. I know there's a lot of drunk rednecks with the absolute wrong mindset stating a similar message, but it is ultimately quite important - buy a gun. Get a pistol and a rifle that can be converted to automatic fire and when the shit hits the fan and laws aren't relevant anymore, convert it and take to the streets. Ahead of time, we need to reach out and find a middleground with citizens over the internet. It'll be sort of difficult but right now, about 30% of America or so if I were to guess (which is about 95% of the youth) is committed to the right idea of freedom and has shared that idea pocketed all over the internet. If we can rally at least 70% and people are ready for the revolution (not as in Tea Party/Occupy/My candidate is awesome "revolution" bullshit, I'm talking real revolution) it'll be pretty swift, especially since we could get most of the world on our side in that case because they hate the American government and its doing.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

Ron Paul is probably the best bet, but you're right. It probably wouldn't do TOO much.. but at least it's a step in the right direction.

and, as much as i don't want to sound crazy/sound like some little kid that just wants violence/sound like a conspiracy theorist or anything..

you can't become a member of congress/president without huge support from an already-corrupt party. you're just not popular enough/rich enough to afford your own advertising to even get your name out there enough to get elected on your own. and protesting is pretty much illegitimate as an option, thanks to Occupy. they had the right idea in mind, but absolutely poor execution and a muddling of opinion (along with a bunch of people that really did just want economic equality! (think "i am the 99%". started out right; people making millions while their workers making not enough to live. but then it became "i have millions in student loans, please help" (but the student loan thing is its own can of worms))) gives the idea of protesting a lack of legitimacy and a lack of authority. peaceful protesting, that is.

what else is left?

Ron Paul will never win because he's trying to run for a seat in a corrupt system and he is not corrupt. Don't get me wrong, if I was ever going to participate in the puppet show and vote, it would most likely be for him. He actually makes sense, which is exactly why when you see him on any big media news program, they make him look like a crazy old man. The people who run the puppet show also run the media corporations and the rest of the infrastructure. It's been this way for FOREVER. Any time someone comes along who speaks a bit of truth against a system designed specifically to keep what's in power, in power, he will be ousted if not killed, and the people who sit around and get all their news from the mainstream media will flat out believe he hung himself with piano wire, or that the random sandal floating in the water was Osama's. That's how it works, that's how it has ALWAYS worked, and that's how it will continue to work. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, the more things change the more they stay the same, insert other cliche saying here.

Also, of course you're not going to hear about the Kellog, Root, and Brown document on the mainstream news. It's bad business to upset the peasants during the holiday spending frenzy.

I think by votes he could win. He has so much support now more than ever. If he can't because the corruption fixes elections, then the whole voting thing is nonsense anyways.

However everyone is conscious of that deception now though thanks to all the means of information we have, so pulling off something such as that stunt would be more difficult. At least, I would think so.

Sure. Straight up voter fraud is pretty well out, at least until the generations who were around during that time all die off, then they can probably pull that card out again. To get away with it now you have to be a little more creative, like create a social conflict, crash the stock market, start a war, and then they push through a candidate with a questionable background while we're all distracted. Of course, to begin with, you're only given the choices that THEY PROVIDE FOR YOU. Nobody knew a fucking thing about Obama. Lo and behold, he's the leader of the free world. All opinions and choices are provided for us, and if we don't agree with those choices, we're crackpot conspiracy theorists. Conspiracy, it's a powerful word. Of course, the definition is provided by whoever is in power, much like the definitions of Liberty, Equality, Freedom. You are told what they mean, you don't get to choose for yourself.

It's like a giant chess game.

I'm being speculative and a little paranoid, sure. Mostly though, I am trying to express the perspective of the people in power. They literally have a completely different mindset then the rest of us because they hold something so powerful, so corrupt, they they have to do anything to keep hold of it. ANYTHING. If they give it up, they will be killed.

i'm may be optimistic but I just can't see magnemitt or newtwo beating out obama. And there are enough people that think ron paul is 1- crazy 2- too radical 3- racist 4- terrible to have him win.

Exactly, which is hilarious because he speaks from the perspective of those who hold the constitution in high regard. Real, true, American perspective. If the classic American perspective is looked at now as being radical, then it should be clear to anyone that there is a force that is twisting, and contorting the opinions of the masses to think that America and the classic American mindset is a bad thing. This force is global and doesn't reside within the boundaries of laws or nations.

By the way, if Newtronica gets elected, you bettered believe we're in for some shit. Here's a wonderful speech from 2008. I think the title says it all...

Hate to break it to you, but things aren't really any better in England right now.
