He's since tried to get away with that by saying one of them was Donald Trump but that's not who was in that story the first time he told it.

If memory serves from reading his memoir, this video is from top of the pops, I think his first time across the pond, when he didn’t realize he wouldn’t be performing live, so all the producers basically said for him to do was bounce around like a ball and yell into the mic.
