You play cello? Do you have any clips of you playing?

As a matter of fact I dont. Sorry. Bought it to try on guitar. Im thinking of adjusting one of my guitars so that it has an arc at the bridge, to get as close to cello sounds as possible.

How is it? I'm looking to get an inexpensive mixer myself.

its a brilliant camera for the price, luckily i've been using a canon 300d for a good few years meaning that i'm finding my way around the 550d easily enough. the video compatibility is breathtaking - here's a video i shot on the first day of using the camera - feel free to give me a message if you have any queries!

microKORG XL

I had a microKORG a long while back, and I always loved that little thing. I saw this XL at GC and I saw it was on sale, so I just picked it up. It's quite a powerful little machine. Feels kind of like a toy, much like the old one, but the sound, and flexibility of it is too nice to pass up. It's a pain in the butt to program by hand, as all of the settings are down in different sections and you have to toggle till your fingers hurt. I just opt out with the usb and sound editor software. It's like im just programming another soft synth in my logic pro rack.

Great deal for a cheap flexible little synth.

Yeah it looks cool, but the older version of the micro korg is all around a better buy. It's built better and has the brain of the MS2000 in it. The XL feels too cheap to me and has too little real time controls but if it was on sale? Awesome! They are cool little synths none the less. How much did you get it for?

It was listed as $499, I got it for $399. I ended up spending the other $100 on nonsense stuff there anyway, but still, I thought it was a fair price, and I had some money I needed to spend.

Included with the sound editor software are all of the factory ms2000, ms200b, and original microKORG patches... so that's kind of nice, and they sound fantastic.
