Good to see so much feline love on Twoism. I've got 2, both of whom are having a bit of a rough time. One has injured her leg - we don't think anything is broken, but she might have torn a ligament or something. The other has ongoing issues with severe allergies and is being referred to the vet school for in depth tests.

This is qwerty:
But this photo has almost a year... he's much fatter now!
Throughout my life I've had three siamese cats (consecutively, not at the same tiem) when I was living in my hometown. Then I moved with my brother who had three female cats, one of which had three kittens... It was a little chaotic during that time but we loved them! Now I'm living alone and I adopted that ball of fur

Hehe, same here.
Damn I miss my cat! But I'm going to see it this weekend, YEAH!
The problem with outdoor cats in cities are the cars. So many cats are ran over. Sad.

Sad day today; having to say goodbye to Rocket :(
She was only 7 & 1/2 but had a tumour at the base of her spine. We've been keeping her comfy with a lot of morphine for a couple of months, but it reached the point this week where we had to make the decision to put her to sleep. She'd started getting nerve pain in her tail (therefore biting it), which we were managing, but the next stages would be losing control of her back legs and bowel/bladder function, which we just couldn't let happen, so.....
Final trip to the vet today. :(

I know the feeling just too well. We had to put down one of our two cats Isis half a year ago.
I've always cheered myself up by thinking of the whole thing with dying as a giving back life to nature kind of process. Throughout you take things from nature, say, food, shelter, love - and at the end of it you give it all back.
She's in a place where she has no limits to her body now, I'm sure of it!

^ :)
Funnily enough, when I was doing some research into her illness & treatment, I found myself on what can only be described as a Crazy Cat Lady forum - where cats that die "cross the rainbow bridge".... Only when I hear "rainbow bridge", I think of the live Hendrix album. So the thought of all these wee cats passing on.... to rock out with Jimi in the next life is pretty appealing ;) cat- heaven is essentially Woodstock in my head...

cats are the best, most adorable little creatures there are.

Mr Jeeves sadly passed away in November 2012, he is missed. He was my best mate.
The good news is that we are getting a new cat soon. Huzzah! I want a Maine Coon.

this is nougat and she is a lil street rat. only kept her indoors for a couple years after we found her cuddling with some stuffed animals at a random garage sale, then we unleashed her upon our neighborhood and continued to feed her and stuff. for years she always hung around outside the house but last summer i moved and fully intended on bringing her to my new neighborhood but i guess she decided not to let me find her that month. so she's out there in the big bad world somewhere. she's been an outdoor kitty most of her life so hopefully she's alive.
