I spend a good portion of my time studying human spirituality and the religions of the world. I believe in a collective existence among all living things that is the manifestation of a supreme being. Many people are "saved" by Jesus, Buddha, Mohammad or Moses from living empty, hopeless, undirected lives...and at the same time many individuals that belong to a religious group don't live a life of peace.
I think organized religion ruins a lot of people from pursuing a meaningful "spiritual" path...a path that comes from within that focuses on a sense of oneness...so NO I am not religious, but I am not anti-religion either.

Good thing we live where we do. (:

I'm heading over to Willow River this coming Sunday. Really look forward to it...looks like summer and fall have come and gone already, since I was there last.

Cole mentioned you guys were headed to the North Shore...are you back already, or going later? Hope it is/was a great trip man. I really wish I could have made it up there this year!

That means you're bad, as this sounds like an organised religious statement.

So, a fair amount of Twoismers(boccers) are "nonreligious".

This doesn't reflect the worldwide statistics.

agnostic. The idea of a God is quite romantic and I'd like to believe but can't. But if I did believe in a God, it would be a personal thing, organised religion isnt something that really appeals to me.

I am a believer in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. I however do not like the concept of "organized religion", and the wrap that goes along with all of it. I choose to believe what I do, and if someone else see's my life and likes it, then I want to tell them about it. I have a personal relationship with the Creator, and I don't think it helps anyone to shove things down people's throats.

I guess you're feeling religious about not feeling religious.

"The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question, is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say,

"Hey - don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride..."

And we... kill those people. "Shut him up! We have a lot invested in this ride. Shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account, and my family. This HAS to be real."

It's just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who come and tell us that. You ever notice that? And let the demons run amock? But it doesn't matter because it's just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice, no effort, no work, no job, no savings of money, a choice right now between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, and close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one."

I think it depends on how you look at it
He's saying that there's no point living if you spend a life lived in fear
