awesome shots!!

Thanks and cheers! :D
That canoe photo particularly was taken by sticking my cameraphone into a telescope looking down onto the shores.
I have a few others done the same way. I'll have a little lookie for em.

I found some more I took on same day as the canoe one.

Recently discovered that taking shots through a telescope creates some great unintentional effects.

A new one. Once again Shoegaze inspired via the softer textures. :)

These look like they could be in the liner notes for the next BoC album, or a National Enquirer article about the Loch Ness Monster.

Ta! :]
I should really post them on r/boardsofcanada under the tag 'BoC Vibes' then.

Another jab at critiquing the entertainment world. I really need to work on my lettering, though:

Sometimes I look at the stuff I've made and wonder "what the hell kind of band would use all this artwork" :?

Is it odd to say that Pure Industry reminds me of 'The Birth of Venus' by Botticelli?
As well, you've really come into your own when it comes to colour schemes and grading. Love the vibrancy on this one particularly! :]

That band would have a seriously intriguing discography that's for sure.

I certainly see the resemblance. I'd say the way figures were posed in classic paintings is an inspiration of mine, just with more of an abstract interpretation :) . Coloring can be a pain when the saturation looks different depending on the screen.

Maybe a Butthole Surfers or DEVO inspired band would use these, with an industrial influence  . Weirdly, I found just now that Babylon Zoo's "Spaceman" meshes with the aesthetic. :|

I had a brief discussion with a friend recently about how the whole formatting/design aspect of albums is kind of a lost art these days due to things mostly being digital and streamed. It's almost like back in the '50s, '60s, and '70s when it was mostly based on hit singles being put together. I guess that's a subject for another thread, though. Also, I mostly worked on this while having Billy Corgan's bald-ass voice singing in my ears.

These song titles will get you recording contract, no matter if your musical skill are null void.
Tracks like "Hellbent On A Scheme", "It's Not My Equation" and "War-Torn and Lovin' It" are screaming out to be composed and copyrighted.
I bet Bruce Dickinson wishes he could've wrote an Iron Maiden ditty called "Built To Burn" :D

Also, I do admire One More Time greatly (it's like a deformed and duplicated passport print out.)

I haven't kept up with these topics recently, I just have been kind of hoping for once that someone would give input on your art here that isn't well... me. :|

Admittedly it does kinda bum me out sometimes, but thems the brakes.

I've been taking refuge from all the BoC numerology going on at the moment.

Inspired by the "Bella Squared" painting from The Sims 2:

Thanks :) . Also, that's an inside joke between me and my sister; can't bring up Billy Corgan without mentioning his "bald-ass voice"
